“Give Me Love”, is the new Hare Krishna centre in the heart of the famous Camden Town, Central London, opened by the Prasad Distribution team officially known as Food for All, by the mercy of Srila Prabhupada.

It’s already attracting so much attention, everyone wants a photo.

*George:* Well, we should try to see God in everything, so it helps so much having the food to taste. Let’s face it, if God is in everything, why shouldn’t you taste Him when you eat? I think that *prasadam* is a very imp

This year it was ISKCON’s turn to host the annual Diwali in London (DiL) event, which was especially appropriate because it is Bhaktivedanta Manor’s 50th anniversary.

Special features provided by Bhaktivedanta Manor included a tent showcasing many of ISKCON’s achievements and what is on offer, and book tables. The junior Bhaktivedanta Players put on a delightful performance of The Ramayan.

We recently spent 3 weeks in ISKCON’s prominent temples in England. I first came to the country in 1971 with Srila Prabhupada. It was wonderful to see how our movement there has expanded in leaps and bounds since those early days. How proud Srila Prabhupada must be of all the devotees, both past and present, who have contributed to making ISKCON what it is today in the UK. Check it all out for yourself in this video!

Devotees coming from Ukraine put their own Sunday Feast together in their ‘New Beginning Cafe’, in the City of London. Today we received £10,000 worth of computer equipment for learning English and establishing initiatives. The cafe helps raise income and acts as a resource centre, thanks to the hard work of Bhaktin Inna. All these devotees have a story to tell, but Srila Prabhupada has come to take the devotees suffering away so they can chant the Holy Name:

It was the beginni

“If we connect with Krishna, then we are illuminated.”

“Actually Krsna is the original Supreme Being, original spirit soul. We are
simply minute part and parcel of Krsna. Exactly the same example: just like
the fire and the small sparks. You can see. This fireworks is going on. The
fire is there, and there are small sparks. So long the fire and the small
sparks are together, they are illumination. Similarly, if we connect with
Krsna, then we are illuminated.” [Srila Prabhupada Bombay, November

London and Paris have much in common as far as Krishna Consciousness is concerned. Srila Prabhupada visited both cities many times.

He installed Radha Krishna Deities in both places and gave Them similar names...Radha-London Isvara (London) Radha-Paris Isvara (Paris). He also installed Jagannatha, Baladeva, Subhadra, and Gaura Nitai in both cities.

HH Mukunda Goswami Maharaja relates:

There is an interesting story that I wrote about. It took place when “Govinda” first came out, when the recording was first released. I was in England, and Yamuna was in England, and we sent this recording to the devotees in Los Angeles to show how we were really preaching big time to the Beatles and had done this record. But the devotees in Los Angeles didn’t want Prabhupada to hear this, because they thought it was very strange that a woman’s voice would b

Ratha Yatra is usually a summer staple for ISKCON devotees, a chance to pull Their Lordships Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra on Their chariot through the streets, share Krishna consciousness, see old friends and connect. With the COVID-19 pandemic, of course, none of this is possible in person, and Ratha Yatras all over the world have been cancelled. But devotees are thinking creatively and coming up with virtual alternatives for the chariot festival.

From July 1st to 12
