Rudradeva took me out of the city to Niagara-on-the-Lake, after we met with Vaishnava to open a bank account for our registered ISKCON Niagara. I was taken to see another property. भावार्थ हे अर्जुन! इन्द्रियाँ इतनी प्रबल तथा वेगवान हैं कि वे उस विवेकी पुरुष के मन को भी बलपूर्वक हर लेती हैं, जो उन्हें वश में करने का प्रयत्न करता है।

तात्पर्य अनेक विद्वान, ऋषि,

 गर्व

दम्भो दर्पोSभिमानश्र्च क्रोधः पारुष्यमेव च।
अज्ञानं चाभिजातस्य पार्थ सम्पदमासुरीम्। ४।

दम्भः- अहंकार;दर्पः- घमण्ड;अभिमानः- गर्व;च- भी;क्रोधः- क्रोध, गुस्सा;पारुष्यम्- निष्ठुरता;एव- निश्चय ही;च- तथा;अज्ञानम्- अज्ञान;च- तथा;अभिजातस्य- उत्पन्न हुए के;पार्थ- हे पृथापुत्र;सम्पदम्- गुण;आसुरीम्- आसुरी प्रकृति।

भावार्थ हे पृथापुत्र! दम्भ, दर्प, अभिमान, क्रोध, कठोरता तथा अज्ञान - ये सारे आसुरी स्वभाव वालों के गुण हैं।
