It was nice to see Chris again. It’s been about a year since I last saw him cycling around. Wherever he spots me he pulls over and we chat. Chris is a Vedic person and has a guru, so we can exchange words like puja, which he does daily, and yoga, which he also spends an hour on each morning. He also said to me, when we shared a picnic table, “I now get up at brahma-muhurta.” He then quoted Sadguru, explaining what time in the morning that is. अध्याय सत्ताईस - इन्द्रदेव तथा माता सुरभि द्वारा स्तुति (10.27)
1 श्रील शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने कहा: कृष्ण के गोवर्धन पर्वत उठाने तथा भयंकर वर्षा से व्रजवासियों की रक्षा करने के बाद गौवों की माता सुरभि गोलोक से कृष्ण का दर्शन करने आई। इनके साथ इन्द्र था।
2 भगवान का अपमान करने के कारण इन्द्र अत्यन्त लज्जित था। एकान्त स्थान में उनके पास जाकर इन्द्र उनके चरणों पर गिर पड़ा और सूर्य के समान तेज वाले मुकुट को भगवान के चरणकमलों पर रख दिया।

Krishna’s People (Gente di Krishna), a new online talk show in Italian, gives voice to the devotee majority in Italy – those who live regular lives working, studying and taking care of their families, while incorporating Krishna consciousness.
The program, hosted by Villa Vrindavana temple president and Italian Communications Director Parabhakti Das, takes place live on Zoom every Friday at 7pm Italian time, and is broadcast to platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Youtube.
Shaping a prayer was a portion of today’s preoccupation. Why is prayer important? It is a practice amongst followers of bhakti yoga. A person by the name of Akura, during Krishna’s time, championed this. In my spare time I’m piecing together a poem to address the nature and healing power of prayer.
