Hera Panchami is a unique festival in the Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra at the Gundicha Temple. Hera means to ‘see’ and Panchami means the ‘fifth day’ – on Hera Panchami day Goddess Lakshmi comes to the Gundicha Temple to see Lord Jagannath.
