Thought Of The Day

Guru is described, yasya prasadad bhagavat-prasadah:  "By the mercy of guru one can achieve the mercy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead." Yasya prasada. Yasya aprasadat: "If guru is not pleased, then he has no place." Na gatih kuto 'pi. Why the spiritual master position is so great? Because he is very, very confidential servant of Krsna; therefore his position is so great.

The-Nectar-of-Book-Distribution-in-Bharat-Varsa.jpg

This year in India I had my most ecstatic time. First off, usually I don't distribute books in Mayapur during the festival, because there's so much going on. But upon seeing so many book distributors this year, I got inspired to distribute.

Hare Krsna

Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

Human life is distinguished from animal life due to its heavy responsibilities. Those who are cognizant of these responsibilities and who work in that spirit are called suras (godly persons), and those who are neglectful of these responsibilities or who have no information of them are called asuras (demons). Throughout the universe there are only these two types of human being. In the Ṛg Veda it is stated that the suras

Vaikuntha Atmosphere - Part 1

Hare Krsna

Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

In the 15th Chapter of 3rd Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam titled, "Description of kindgom of God", we find that when Diti is pregnant, the demigods could see unusual darkness spreading over the universe and out of fear they approach Lord Brahma for help. At that time Lord Brahma while explaining the demigods about the pastime of the four Kumaras entering Vaikuntha, beautifully glorifies the nature of the living entities in V

Mind Care- Impressions on the Mind

1. Positive Impression

Why do we hesitate to tell a new comer who is searching for a guru that Srila Prabhupada, the best guru the world has ever seen, is still here, and one can surrender unto him and go back to Godhead very easily? When we have such a great good fortune, why do we not take full advantage of it?

If we really love ISKCON and if we sincerely want the Krsna Consciousness movement to spread all over the world in every town and village, then let us broadcast all over the world that Srila Prabhupada is stil

Thought Of The Day

Pisaci, ghost-haunted. A man is ghost-haunted; he speaks all nonsense. So in this age, Kali-yuga, they are mostly like that. They speak all nonsense. So we should be careful not to accept their proposal. We shall stick to Krsna consciousness. We shall accept what Krsna says and reject everything. Then we'll be saved.

How to make your work worship.......................Nectarean Mellows

Arjuna, in the first chapter of Srimad Bhagavad-Gita, was speaking in a pseudo-spiritual way, that ‘there is too much confusion in fighting this war so I am not going to fight. And the whole Bhagavad-Gita was to teach Arjuna, ‘you must perform your duty but

After many years of hard work and struggle, devotees in Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina, are seeing their efforts pay off as Krishna Consciousness reaches a mainstream audience.

Just one example of this is the December issue of the very popular New Age/religious magazine Uno Mismo. Featured on its cover, in saffron robes and bright Vaishnava tilak, is spiritual leader Gunagrahi Das Goswami, who came to assist ISKCON Argentina in 1996. Roughly translated from the Spanish, the tag l

Maan means anger this place is called maan sarovara because Srimati Radha Rani came here in the mood of Maan. Maan is when Radharani acts angry and feels hurt because of Krishna’s neglect. Not many people visits this place and untill you get fairly close to this place most people wil
