क्रोध आना

श्रीभगवानुवाच।

अभयं सत्त्वसंश्रुद्धिर्ज्ञानयोगव्यवस्थितिः।

दानं दमश्र्च यज्ञश्र्च स्वाध्यायस्तप आर्जवम्। १।

अहिंसा सत्यमक्रोधस्त्यागः शान्तिरपैश्रुनम्।

दया भूतेष्वलोलुप्त्वं मार्दवं ह्रीरचापलम्। २।

तेजः क्षमा धृतिः शौचमद्रोहो नातिमानिता।

भवन्ति सम्पदं दैवीमभिजातस्य भारत। ३।

श्रीभगवान् उवाच- भगवान् ने कहा;अभवम्- निर्भयता;सत्त्व-संशुद्धिः- अपने अस्तित्व की शुद्धि;ज्ञान- ज्ञान में;योग- संयुक्त होने की;व्यवस्थितिः- स्थिति;दानम्- दान;दमः- मन का निग्रह;च- तथा;यज्ञ- यज्ञ की सम्पन्नता;च- तथा;स्वाध्या

क्रोध आना

दुःखेष्वनुद्विग्नमनाः सुखेषु विगतस्पृहः।
वीतरागभयक्रोधः स्थितधीर्मुनिरुच्यते। ५६।

दुःखेषु– तीनों तापों में;अनुद्विग्न-मनाः– मन में विचलित हुए बिना;सुखेषु– सुख में;विगत-स्पृहः– रुचिरहित होने;वीत– मुक्त;राग– आसक्ति;क्रोधः– तथा क्रोध से;स्थित-धीः– स्थिर मन वाला;मुनिः– मुनि;उच्यते– कहलाता है।

भावार्थ जो त्रय तापों के होने पर भी मन में विचलित नहीं होता अथवा सुख में प्रसन्न नहीं होता और जो आसक्ति, भय तथा क्रोध से मुक्त है, वह स्थिर मन वाला मुनि कहलाता है।

यततः– प्रयत्न करते हुए;हि– निश्चय ही;अपि– के बावजूद;कौन्तेय– हे कुन्तीपुत्र;पुरुषस्य– मनुष्य की;विपश्र्चितः– विवेक से युक्त;इन्द्रियाणि– इन्द्रियाँ;प्रमाथीनि– उत्तेजित;हरन्ति– फेंकती हैं;प्रसभम्– बल से;मनः– मन को।

भावार्थ हे अर्जुन! इन्द्रियाँ इतनी प्रबल तथा वेगवान हैं कि वे उस विवेकी पुरुष के मन को भी बलपूर्वक हर लेती हैं, जो उन्हें वश में करने का प्रयत्न करता है।

तात्पर्य अनेक विद्वान, ऋषि,

दम्भो दर्पोSभिमानश्र्च क्रोधः पारुष्यमेव च।
अज्ञानं चाभिजातस्य पार्थ सम्पदमासुरीम्। ४।

दम्भः- अहंकार;दर्पः- घमण्ड;अभिमानः- गर्व;च- भी;क्रोधः- क्रोध, गुस्सा;पारुष्यम्- निष्ठुरता;एव- निश्चय ही;च- तथा;अज्ञानम्- अज्ञान;च- तथा;अभिजातस्य- उत्पन्न हुए के;पार्थ- हे पृथापुत्र;सम्पदम्- गुण;आसुरीम्- आसुरी प्रकृति।

भावार्थ हे पृथापुत्र! दम्भ, दर्प, अभिमान, क्रोध, कठोरता तथा अज्ञान - ये सारे आसुरी स्वभाव वालों के गुण हैं।
