Disappearance Sri Rasikananda Prabhu –HDGSP mentions this Great Devotee in His Books as follows–
The temple of Ksira-cora-gopinatha still exists in this village, and within the temple the samadhi tomb of Rasikananda Prabhu, the chief disciple of Syamananda Gosvami, can still be found.

Rasikananda was not born in a brahmana family. There are many instances in which a born brahmana took initiation from a person who was not born in a brahmana family.

Srila Jagannath Das Babaji Maharaj appeared in this world at a village in a part of India which is now Bangladesh. He was born in a wealthy family.
Later in his life he was initiated by Jagadananda Goswami. His guru was in the line of Srila Baladeva Vidyabhusana. One of our very great Acharyas.
Srila Jagannath Das Babaji was a perfect devotee. In the holy place, Vrindavan, he had a little hut, a bhajan kutir. He would sometimes chant there for three days and nights, without stopping. He woul
“Srila Jagannatha dasa Babaji Maharaja was respected by all the Vaisnava community and was thus known as Vaisnava Sarvabhauma, or chief amongst the Vaisnavas. There are some nice stories connecting him with the finding of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s birthplace recorded in Sri Navadwipa Dhama Mahatmya.
Srila Jagannatha dasa Babaji Maharaja was born around the year 1800 AD. He spent many years in Vrndavana where he became famous as a perfect devotee, though more than this is not known of his early

Sri Rasikananda Deva appeared in this world in 1590 A.D. (Sakabda 1512), on the first day of the bright fortnight of the month of Kartik. His father was Sri Achyuta Deva, the king of Rohini. The village of Rohini was situated within the country known as Mallabhumi, encompassed on one side by the Suvarnarekha River.
In the village of Royni, Rasikananda Deva was dearly beloved by the people. He was also known as Murari. At a very young age he became quite proficient in all of th

His Grace Dhritarastra Prabhu ACBSP left this world in Vrndavana.
About one hour ago our dear Godbrother, Dhritarastra prabhu, took his last breath at the Bhaktivedanta Hospice, here in Vrindavan. It is a very sad day for all of us. I was just getting to know what a wonderful person he is. He has happily reunited with Srila Prabhupada and his next mission.
More details to follow.

One week has passed since the Turkish yatra and members of the Hungarian Food for Life team started their food distribution in Turkey for those most affected by the severe damage caused by the earthquake in February 2023. The Hare Krishna Food for Life rapid reaction team was busy serving the locals with hot prasadam for a whole week and they will keep doing so in the future. Let’s have a look into Food for Life in action!

Off we go! Six of us on the way to Mother India where Father Dharma rules, or at least did so at one time. Who are we? Chris, Anya, Dhruva, Vya, Kunti, and I go up, up, and away in Air Canada for a stopover in Heathrow, bound for Mumbai and finally Kolkata.
2020 was my last visit to the place of the essence (dharma). I am blessed to have this company that I’m in. At our waiting gate our crew of six grabbed a final bit to eat and then engaged in our reading of the script “Witness Gopal,” a way t
What really happens to the jiva-souls who have chosen to leave their "real home" in the spiritual world, and live in the temporary material world created by Maha-Visnu?
To begin with, all the material bodily vessels in the material creation aquired by the visiting jiva-souls from Vaikuntha or Goloka-Vrindavana, belong to Maha-Visnu and must be purchased or "hired" from Him.
Secondly, the jiva-souls are eternal while the material bodily vessels they occupy are temporary.
Therefore, staying in the ma

We have been blessed with a personal visit to TOVP H.H. Niranjana Sami and H.H. Prahladanandana Swami. We took them around the construction site, showed them the current directions of activity, introduced them to samples of artwork and even took them to the upper terrace under the dome of the Temple.
The Maharajas showed keen interest, asked many questions and were impressed by the scope and volume of the work already done.
We hope for their blessings and the blessings of other de

The Lord Mayor of Sanliufa, Zaynel Abidin Beyazgul, joyfully welcomed us “what took you so long?”, he didn’t realise that we just drove 3,000 miles. He immediately had the police escort our vans into the protected location where the kitchen was to be located. Then the surprise came, our own rooms, basic but comfortable, even laid on hot tea for us, we were anticipating camping out in the snow. Zaynel is a man of action, a hand’s on Mayor ready to mix wit
What a blessing today was, like all days! I say that because I receive an affirmation almost every day. Today was no exception. My stomach confirmed that beet root and I just don’t get along. I love the flavour and the colour, but tummy-wise, it doesn’t work. The truth is simply underscored.
In preparation for my India trip which begins tomorrow, I was urged on to do some shopping. Another truth about myself is that I’m not fond of going out for selecting a purchase. But when it comes to acquir
The ILS – ISKCON Leadership Sanga – has started on 13th Feb and will go on till 16th Feb. Several hundred devotees from all over the world have to come to Mayapur to take part in seminars and courses aimed at deepening their Krishna consciousness and developing their skills in leadership in Srila Prabhupada’s movement.
The ILS provides a unique opportunity for the cross-pollination of thoughts and best practices. It gives a chance for devotees to observe the ISKCON world from a global perspecti
The first Iskcon Leadership Sanga was held in Mayapur after three years because of Covid restrictions. Around fourteen hundred devotees attended from different parts of the world over a five day period.
Every day there were presentations given on the main stage in the ToVP building and the devotees then made their way to the thirty or forty various seminars and workshops held in different rooms.
Of course, there was also wonderful guru-puja of Srila Prabhupada, ecstatic kirtan and sumptuous pr
By now, you must be aware that I am a sucker for three dimensional objects – sculptures. Before becoming a monk, I was preoccupied in various visual art forms. Recently when I made a visit at the dentist’s office, I saw a piece of metallic curvature sculpture which reminded me of something I assembled in college in ’73 when I walked away from several pieces of artwork to take to my current vocation. When seeing that sculpture in the patients’ waiting room, I had that nostalgic moment.
