Eventually the time factor takes everyone away. Then where do all the friends and relatives go? They have left life and have gone to another new birth in another location.
This is the understanding that has been achieved in thi
If there is one most precious thing in this material world ,I would say it is vaishnava association. Sadhu sanga lifts us up from the most fallen condition and quickly fills our mind and soul with happiness, faith and hope for the future. I have experienced the causeless mercy of vaishnavas over the past 8years ever since coming to ISKCON . Now, I cannot imagine life without them nor what would have been my fate had I not found them.
Not only have they helped me in overcoming spiritual problems b
denigrate ourselves!
It is understandable that they think this way because there are many
statements that one may misunderstand such as:
1. Thinking oneself lower than the straw in the street
2. The soul is one ten thousandth the tip of the hair in size
3. The individual soul is tiny
4. One should be selfless
5. Etc.
Also we may come in contact with people who in the name of Krishna
consciousness authority denigrate us, telling us that

I have been moved by this particular sentiment which Maharaj and other senior vaishnavas often express in many of the lectures. Tad Dhenu Kampam verse has been repeatedly extolled by great acharyas as the guaranteed way to attract Lord's mercy.
But it is in the practical aplication of this lofty principle, which I implicitly endorse wholeheartedly, that I find myself falling short. Very often a fear of the unknown takes a powerful grip on the mind and interferes with unconditional surrender and s

Why should one be a fanatic? If one has got brain, one has got logic, why should he be a fanatic? Fanatic means dullheaded rascal.
However, the term "fanaticism" should not be misunderstood. Srila Prabhupada defines fanaticism as a manifestation of religion without philosophy. "Religion without philosophy is sentiment, or sometimes fanaticism." (Bg. 3.3 purport.) If a devotee has realization and is preaching according to sastra, even if his pre

The Pastimes of Krsna during age of pauganda
1. When Lord Rama and Lord Krsna attained the age of pauganda [six to ten] while living in Vrndavana, the cowherd men allowed Them to take up the task of tending the cows. Engaging thus in the company of Their friends, the two boys rendered the land of Vrndavana most auspicious by imprinting upon it the marks of Their lotus feet.
2. Thus desiring to enjoy pastimes, Lord Madhava, sounding
A very special and sacred festival of Lord Jagannath held in the full-moon day of the month of Jyestha. This festival is known as 'Devasnan Purnima' or 'Snana Yatra' (Bathing Festival). According to Skanda Purana when King Indradyumna installed the wooden deities he arranged this bathing ceremony.
