Bhaktamal was written by Śrīmad Göswāmi NābhaDas Ji Maharaj in 1585. Bhaktmāl is the garland of 200 Bhakta Charitra which Śrī NābhaDas Ji Maharāj has write down. He was initiated in Śrī Rāmānanda Saṁpradāya & his Śrī Guru was Śrī Agar Dās swami (श्रीअग्रदास स्वामी).

This is in continuation of my last blog on Krishna’s flutes. I am sharing the below nectar from a lecture by HH Radha Govinda Maharaj on Venu Gita. We are all aware that the Venu Gita (Song of Lord Krishna’s Flute Play) is a compilation of  twenty verses in the 21st chapter of tenth canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.

MiraBai (1498 - 1547) was a Rajput princess who lived in the north Indian state of Rajasthan. She was a devout follower of Lord Krishna. MiraBai was one of the foremost exponents of the Prema Bhakti (Divine Love) and an inspired poetess.
