In this gloomy time, there can never be too many sources of light. So it’s apt that on Diwali day (November 14th) this year, there are at least two new devotional songs set to be released. As well as Govinda Priya’s first single “Achyutam: Your Names,” another UK-based artist, Radhika Ranjana Das (affectionately known as Radhika Das) has announced his debut track Ram Sita Ram.
“In my childhood I would hear ancient tales of Sita Ram and particularly Hanuman, the fiercely str
What I’m going to say I’m sure will sound familiar to you.
Someone I hadn’t seen for a while entered my mind view.
I reached Kensington on foot and the dude-in-thought manifest.
His name is Hanuman and it’s here that he rests.
“I’m glad to see you,” he said, “I like it here. I even kicked the habit of drinking beer.”
I cheered the tall but disheveled Hanuman, who has no home and no coins in his palm.
I gave him a pair of gloves last year for the winter.
I’m sure he forgot as his life has no ce

“Although the sight of Lord Ramacandra is naturally blissful, when He is with His beloved Janaki, with Laksmana, and with His best servant Hanuman, His beauty increases manyfold, and whoever sees Him becomes immersed in the most exceptional ecstasy. This picture of Lord Ramacandra together with Sita, Laksmana, and Hanuman depicts the Supreme Lord in His especially compassionate mood.” (Sri Brhad-bhagavatamrta 2.4.259 commentary)
We pray for their loving, compassionate glance.

Though some people do not believe that the present Sri Lanka is the one mentioned in the Ramayana, when we investigate the area, there is still much convincing tradition therein and many sites identified with the Ramayana. A rich legacy of locations and temples can be found in the country where the most significant events of this epic are supposed to have taken place. In fact, you can go on what is called the Ramayana tour and visit so many of these places, many of which we will describe here

ISKCON Mayapur has been organizing the Sri Ksetra Parikrama for the past thirteen years but it has been performed since the time of Vidyapati, one of Lord Jagannatha’s most intimate worshippers who served under King Indradyumna. It is always held at Puri-dhama on the days prescribed in the scriptures and observed by previous generations.
The parikrama was blessed with the association of many senior devotees, including Indradyumna Maharaja disciple Bhakti Rasayan Sagar Mah

On May 2nd we were at Hospet, on the bank of the Tungabhadra River, 12 km from Hampi. Officially named Hosapete, the town is located in the Bellary District of central Karnataka. We stayed there for 3 days and performed sankirtana in different areas. Sarveswar Shyam Dasa, a disciple of HH Radhanath Swami Maharaja, made all arrangements for our accommodations.

Surasa, the mother of all serpents, she appeared from under the waters, she appeared in a massive Rakshasi like form. Hanuman saw her. They looked at each other and Surasa in a very thunderous voice, She was very powerful. She roared, “Today the gods have bestowed nice food for me. O monkey I am very fond of eating your flesh and drinking your blood. Today you will be my lunch.”
Hanuman said, “Lord Ramacandra is my master. I must deliver his message to Sitadevi, His beloved consort. That’s all.

One thousand Russian devotees, friends of Krishna and Indian community members gathered to celebrate Diwali in spectacular style in Moscow on Saturday October 29th.
The crowd packed out a rented auditorium in ISKCON Moscow’s Kuusinena Street building, just ten minutes’ drive from the Kremlin.
The afternoon was a cultural event to commemorate welcoming Lord Rama and his wife Sita Devi, the heroes of the epic Ramayana, back to their capital Ayodhya.

Samsiddhir Hari Toshanam - Everything for the pleasure of Lord Hari
Whatever we do in our life must be for the pleasure of the Lord. Once when Hanuman heard from mother Sita that the kumkum she puts on her fore head is for the pleasure of the Lord, then Hanuman covered his whole body with kumkum to please Lord Rama, without even thinking how he will look, what the people in society will think of him. His only concern in life was how to please Lord Rama.

A statuette of Lord Hanuman is among few items that US President Barack Obama always carries in his pocket and seeks inspiration from whenever he feels tired or discouraged.
President disclosed this on a YouTube interview which the White House scheduled as a way to reach younger audiences as it promotes Obama’s final State of the Union address on Tuesday.
Asked to show off an item of personal significance during the interview with YouTube creator Nilsen on Friday, 54-year-old Obama pulled from
So there are different kinds of devotees also. Some devotee worships the Narayana feature, some devotee worships Krsna feature, Nrsimhadeva... So there are innumerable devotees and innumerable forms also of Krsna. But not these ordinary demigods. When Krsna says, ye yatha mam prapadyante tams tathaiva bhajamy aham: [Bg. 4.11] "Any devotee who wants to worship Me in My different feature, I offer him in that feature..." Just like Hanuman. He was a devotee of Rama. So there is one verse by Hanuman,
While constructing the Rama-setu bridge, the monkey - warriors used to write the name of Lord Rama on the stones and would throw them in the mighty ocean; the stones used to float. Once Lord Rama Himself threw the stone in the ocean and surprisingly the stone sank. When Hanuman saw this he started smiling. Hanuman with folded hands said, “My dear Lord this is just one of your lilas. You make huge planets float in the sky so what is the difficulty for you to make these stones float in the oce
