When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
In Mayapur, in Dec 1989.

I am an aspiring devotee. I have been chanting for past 28 years - chanting 16 since past 9 years. Materially, I am a CA & I am working with a corporate house.
What are your expectations from this community?
I want to be able to communicate with devotees through this site, get recipes, get updates about happenings around ISKCON world, read realisations from other devotees.
Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
I would love to do any seva that I am thought worthy of.

BHut kalesh rehta tha ghar me. Un chacha ki ek beti hui jise ham sabne bachpan se apni beti ki tarah pala posa. Lekin aaj wo galat sangat me pad gai he. Ladko ko msg karti he. 14 years ki he wo. pehle wo chacha bigad gae ab unki beti. Please bataye kya karna chahiye kya mere mata pita ka jiwan dukhon ke sath hi ant ho jaega. Abhi bhi wo bechare ek bhut hi ordinary se open roof wale do kamro me jeewan basar kar rae he jese tese. Please bataye please.

I was initiated many years ago, but I left ISKCON. I have reapproached my gurudeva and he told me that my previous service counts eternally. However, I wish to distribute Srila Prabhupada's books. I live in Albany, New York where there is no ISKCON temples.
So association for me is online. I have an older body, and I am somewhat ill. But I still am determined to distribute Vedic literature. That is the service I wish to offer. Please forgive any offenses I may have done in writing this note. If you know of more ways that I can be of service, please let me know.
