The Panca Tattva descended to this world. They broke the lock of the storehouse of love of God and they were relishing the love of Godhead. As they were drinking the nectar of Krsna Prema, their thirst was increasing. This is the nature of chanting the Holy Name. One should drink from the cup of the ears for transcendental pleasure and attain laya, nearly fainting in love of God. Lord Caitanya used to jump very high in kirtan and spin wildly. Sometimes he would chant the same line of a kirtan f

How I gave up tea and coffee

When I came to devotees' association, I was again and again asked to quit coffee and tea. I tried to drink other possible drinks, but i was forcefully attracted towards these two drinks. Then I started to pray Krishna and Prabhupad to show some or the other way.

One fine day, I received a video through watsapp, in which a good doctor was explaining how they act upon us.

The very first thing they do is, boosting our nervous system very speedly . And only in twenty minutes, whole nervo

The soul is eternal. Bodies are dresses that the soul accepts and discards. Each body creates a compelling scenario of existence. In the menagerie of life, the soul identifies with a species, forms relationships, struggles to exist and eke out happiness in a challenging environment. In each body, he forgets that he is the soul and that the body just a perishable dress. His thinking circumscribed within the bodily conception causes future bodies. Lord Krishna indicates that the embodied soul’s me

There is no way to overestimate the potency of this Sankirtana-Yajna! The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna Bhagavan Himself descended on this planet as Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to establish this Yuga Dharma which is available to all without limitation of sex, race, nationality, a

Mayapur Kirtan Mela 2018

2515231941?profile=original

By Ramai Swami

As always, the Mayapur Kirtan Mela is immensely popular and devotees come for all over to attend the 5 day festival.

There are a variety of leading devotees who inspire everyone to follow their ecstatic kirtans, which are interspersed with shouts of Gauranga and Haribol.

The evenings were so packed that I had great difficulty getting through the crowds to be nearer the lead chanters.

School of Love by Ruchika Srivastava

2515232184?profile=original

Never are uncommon, these endless lessons of love
Of how to catch a man, how to keep a woman’s love
Or how to use God and His universe
To fulfil one’s desires diverse.
But wise people say just rise above
Life is nothing but a school of love
You get everything that you deserve
Just unlearn to use, and learn to love..

As water cannot fill
The tank of your car when empty
Wealth, prestige and power in plenty
Do not serve our actual purpose and identity.
We are not just hungry, but starving
