I just spoke with the temple manager, Radharaman das, in Kolkata. Somehow a fire started in the deity clothing room about 6pm last night. The Deities were removed downstairs and the fire put out. All the Deity clothes were burnt but the fire didn’t do any further damage. Radha Govinda are OK. The temple building is OK.
The fire brigade had come on time and doused the fire.

2 तत्पश्चात सारे द्वारपाल जल्दी से भोजवंश के शासक राजा कंस के पास गए और उसे देवकी से शिशु के जन्म लेने का समाचार बतलाया। अत्यन्त उत्सुकता से इस समाचार की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे कंस ने तुरन्त ही कार्यवाही की।
