Fourth Annual Global Daiva Varnasrama Convention held

Fourth Annual Global Daiva Varnasrama Convention was recently held here at Sridham Mayapur from 4th March to 7th March.
The event was inaugurated by His Holiness Lokanath Swami, His Holiness Bhakti Raghava Swami, His Holiness Bhakti Dhira Damodara Swami, His GraceSamba Das and His Grace Bharat Chandra Das by lighting the lamp.

Navadwip Mandal Parikrama- Day 3 10th March 2011
Today is the 3rd day of the Navadvip Mandala Parikrama. Our first group to be visited today was the International party in Naimisharanya. When we were about to go out from the Lotus Building through the exit of Caitanya exhibition Hall,we heard the beautiful greeting kirtan for Their Lordship Sri Panca Tattva'Sri Krsna Caitanya Prabhu doya kore moreeee....' was going on in the temple hall. Because you have to attach to something. You cannot become unattached. That is not possible. So, in order to become attached to Krsna or to enter into the devotional service of the Lord, one has to become detached from this material affection. That is wanted. Ordinarily, they go to Krsna for maintaining the attachment with this material world. Just like, "O God, give us our daily bread." That means I have got attachment of this material world, and to live in this material

I find it hard to understand the fact that we are originally part and parcel of Krishna but we have fallen from the spiritual world. My question is: Who would get distracted or attracted towards material world when Krishna is all-attractive, all powerful and the source of all happiness? Chanting should be enough in the forefront that we don’t chant our rounds while driving. It should be enough in the forefront that it gets prime time in the morning. If that’s what he meant by forefront, then yes, chanting should be in the forefront.
