Question and Vedic Answers
Q1. Why are there many Gods in Hinduism?
A1.
No. There is only one God.

Here are some quotes from the Bhagavad-Gita, which is the essence of all Vedic knowledge.
“The whole cosmic order is under me. By my will it is manifested again and again, an

Similarly there is spiritual austerity. We voluntarily undergo some inconvenience but what is the goal? To please Krishna, and by this austerity I will make spiritual advancement. If in order to make spiritual advancement I have to make some sacrifice I should do that. After all that is the goal of life. So the strength to practice austerity comes from the process of Sravanam-Kirtanam and especially when this process is executed in the association of devotees.

The Bhagavad-Gita(Q & A)
What is the Bhagavad-Gita?
The Bhagavad-Gita is the divine conversation between a man named Arjuna and God himself in the human form, Lord Krishna. It is literally the word of God in person. The conversation took place in the middle of a battleground, 5000 years ago, just before the start of a great war in Kurukshetra, India.
The Bhagavad-Gita gives information regarding God (Ishwar), the living entities like you and me (the jivas), time (Kala), activities (karma), and mate

O Krsna! Thakura Bhaktivinoda has warned us that inattention is the main door into the house of aparadhas. O Krsna! Please let me taste some pleasure in Your names, so I can focus my full attention on chanting. May Your holy names become deeply impressed in my mind.

difficult for us to face repeated failures. We may face one or two
failures, but when there are setbacks in every walk of life, then we tend
to become morose and our morale goes down. We start losing hope and faith

Prabhupada decided to restrict his weekly temple visits to Sundays. For the devotees, Sunday became the high point of the week. Sunday was the focal point of the devotees' preaching because all week they would invite people to the weekly festival and all week Tamala Krsna would consult with Prabhupada about the feast menu or the observance of various Vaisnava holidays. Prabhupada also suggested plays the devotees could perform.
When Prabhupada would arrive on Sunday, everyone would be waiting fo
