They asked me to speak on the philosophy of Lord Nityananda. We heard the pastimes first. Maharaj like to give the sweet words but of course everything about Lord Nityananda is ecstatic and very blissful.

There’s an alarming trend: People who have had some degree of good fortune and success tend to lose their humility and become at least slightly arrogant. This is very unfortunate for many reasons. First, and most obviously, no one really wants to be around someone who is arrogant or self-absorbed. It’s boring, and it’s annoying! Arrogance implies a lack of gratitude. The assumption is, “I did this all by myself; it’s all about me.”

In Celebration of the 8th Anniversary of Vrinda Kunda Temple Opening, we have made an ecstatic schedule of parikramas and festivals from Feb 15 to Mar 4th.This year Mayapur festival is late, so Vrindavan Festival will be very hot. But in Vrindavan before Mayapur Festival is one of the best times of the year asthe weather is very pleasant. Last year one devotee told me that he never knew there was so nice weather in Vrindavan. Our festival ends on Mar 4th so youhave time to get to Gaura Mandal Pa
In the late 1960s, while Srila Prabhupada was translating and commenting on his monumental edition of the Srimad-Bhagavatam, heconceived of writing a book which would contain the essential teachings of the Bhagavatam as he was not sure how long he wouldremain manifest on this planet. He then composed a summary study of the most celebrated portion of the Bhagavatam, the Tenth Canto, andentitled it Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He often referred to it as the “Krsna book”.

Question: Everyone Goes Back to Godhead? |
|||||
Will all living entities eventually make it back to Godhead? Is there a need of a material world eternally? |
|||||
Answer: Yes, But Others Will Still Come Here |
|||||
All the living entities who are currently in this material world will eventually return to their original positions in the spiritual world never to return again to this material world. However, there will still be a need for the existence of the material world in o |
Mukunda was also present with Prabhupada in his room, along with a small group of devotees, when an earthquake took place. The telephone poles and wires began moving outside the window. The building trembled. No one said anything until Srila Prabhupada said, "What is this?" A devotee replied, "It's an earthquake, Swamiji." Srila Prabhupada said, "Oh." And then the earthquake suddenly stopped. Everyone present was very intent on Prabhupada's reaction. He said, "We can just sit down and chant Har

Simplicity is one of the most beautiful spiritual virtues. In fact Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur quotes several times in this regard, he says that you can’t really begin the path of Bhakti truly without saralata - without simplicity. What is simplicity? Prabhupada explains it in many different ways and they should be very attentively understood. One place Prabhupada explains, simplicity means wi |
Krishna consciousness is that state of mind in which one is completely free from all disturbance. But a neophyte devotee who is still trying to develop his Krishna consciousness is not purely absorbed in Krishna consciousness yet and therefore sometimes experiences disturbances of mind as he struggles to advance himself along the path of bhakti.
What should he do when such disturbances arise? He should certainly not abandon the pathway of Krishna consciousness thinking that because he could not

Friendship between Vaishnavas: Conquer the Heart
The family of vaishnavas is somehow or other our support. Prabhupada made this movement a very personal one. In the beginning, we overlook how important relationships are because we are not used to it. In the material world, when a relationship doesn’t work, you just cut it off and try another one.... then another one and another one.
Now I’m not talking just about friendships... so many friends came and went in our lives in the material world but
