I recorded memories of times I was with Srila Prabhupada, including audio clips of him speaking on various topics during morning walks when I was present. I love to hear him blast the scientists so effectively, and set our minds right about everything. Apologies if the kirtan lead seems a bit sentimental. Srila Prabhupada acknowledged that most people are going to colleges and universities now days. So, Prabhupada’s idea was to present Krishna Consciousness at the colleges and universities in a format suitable for the students so that they can appreciate the principles of Bhagavat Gita and the principles of Srimad Bhagavatam.

If we represent ourselves very nicely, the whole world will appreciate Srila Prabhupada, the whole world will appreciate Krishna Consciousness. Bus if we don’t represent ourselves properly, then the good names of the spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada, and other previous acharyas and even the principle of Krishna Consciousness will be tainted with some misunderstanding.

When ones mind is attached to Krsna, one can fulfill the mission of life in one human birth. If one misses this opportunity, one does not know where he is going, how long he will remain in the cycle of birth and death, and when he will achieve the human form of life and the chance to return home, back to Godhead. It was a dream of the devotees and many friends in Turkey to read Srimad Bhagavatam in their own mother tongue.
After many years of preparation and actual work Srimad Bhagavatam First Canto Part One recently have been published in Turkish language. The book has been translated by Bhaktin Nilufer and published in Hungary with the help of the Hungarian devotees.
The book came out just before Nrsimha Caturdasi and was presented to Sivarama Swami as his Vyasa Puja gift in New Vraja Dhama, Hungary.
It was a dream of the devotees and many friends in Turkey to read Srimad Bhagavatam in their own mother tongue.

The bad habits tend to influence the execution of devotional service, however if these are detrimental to the cause of spiritual advancement then certainly these bad habits should be cut with the sharp blades of spiritual knowledge. One has to sharpen his intelligence so that one can easily cut the undesirable thoughts that may be motivating one’s feelings in different directions.
