Perfect society is Krsna consciousness. If you accept Krsna as the center... Just like in a family if you accept the head of the family, your father, as the guiding principle, the family's happy. And if you disrupt with the opinion of the father, somebody goes away, somebody's not happy, the family is disturbed. Similarly, if you agree with the instruction of Krsna and God, the whole human society will be peace and prosperity. If you don't agree, disagree, don't agree, disagree, then it is disru

His Grace Jananivas Prabhu, the pujari of Sri Mayapur | the Spiritual Capital of the World Sri Sri Radha Madhava Temple, shares His intimate relation with the Deities.
His very deep understanding of the Deity worship and his touching devotion is truly inspiring.
The standard of deity worship is devotion. The standard is when people come to see the Deities they faint!
The Deities are the source of life for the devotees. Can you imagine coming to the temple for mangala-arati and there’s no deities?
To a vaisnava, material comfort is something he detests. And his constant anxiety is how to become Krsna Conscious, how to remember the lord always, how to utilize everything for the lord, and how to help the lord fulfil his mission.(Srimad Bhagavatam 4.18.7),

On 28 December 2011, the court in the Siberian city of Tomsk dismissed the state prosecutor's stand that the "Bhagavad Gita As It Is" be branded as an "extremist" literature. The case had been going on in the Tomsk city court since June 2011. The Government of India and the Russian Embassy in India took up the matter with the Russian Government.
It shall be recalled that the court case in Tomsk sparked international outrage as the Prosecutor's Office filed the case in
A Russian court has dismissed a call to ban an edition of the Hindu holy book Bhagvad Gita, in a case that triggered protests in India.
Prosecutors in the Siberian city of Tomsk wanted the edition to be ruled “extremist”. That would put it in the same category as Hitler’s Mein Kampf.
The Russian foreign ministry said it was the commentary on the text, not the text itself, that was under scrutiny.
The edition - Bhagvad Gita As It Is - is used by the Hare Krishna movement.

Dear Maharaja's and Prabhu's
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
The court in the Siberian city of Tomsk today dismissed the state prosecutor's stand that the "Bhagavad Gita as-it-is" be branded as an "extremist" literature. The case had been going on in the Tomsk city court since June 2011. The Government of India and the Indian embassy of Moscow as well took up the matter with the Russian Government.

Gaudiya Vaishnavas are fond of chanting “Jaya Radhe!” Love of Radha, Sri Krishna’s principle consort, is central to this theistic school of Vedanta. Such love is described as the brightest jewel of sacred aesthetic rapture,unnatojjvala rasa. This love is accessible to devotees following in the footsteps of Sri Rupa Goswami both in terms of his teaching onbhakti rasa in general and in terms of his own personal ideal of sacred ae
Vishnu sahasranama is the essence of the Mahabharata. Mahabharata also confirms the Lord’s appearance in the Kali-yuga as Sri Caitanya as follows:

The Lord (in the incarnation of Gaurasundara) has a golden complexion. Indeed, His entire body, which is very nicely constituted, is like molten gold. Sandalwood pulp is smeared all over His body. He will take the fourth order of spiritual life (sannyasa) and
Here's a video that keep me mesmerized always.
Isn't it beautiful?
Here's the meaning of the Sanskrit lyrics:

hastaabhyaaM abhayapradaaM maNigaNair
whose hands are ready to rescue anyone from fear

In Tomsk, there's angst;
About a Scripture in fame,
That man goeth against;
Truth, is verily a shame.
"Consign to Siberia",
Oft' heard as nowhere;
But with a new criteria;
'tis here now somewhere !
'Cos to ban they chose,
The Gita - a love tale;
Then Of souls there arose;
In India, a gale !
To surrender soul and mail,
For pure Love is amiss,
The Gita doth detail;
'Cos religions' no bliss !
How be it extreme ?
For a father's such care;
Now, He is the Supreme,
& In Love 'tis all fair.
Extremist notion,

Govindadas Kaviraj (c 1535-1613) Vaisnava poet, contemporary of Chaitanyadev, born in the village of Teliabudhuri in Murshidabad district, West Bengal, son of Chiranjib, a follower of Chaitanyadev.
Govindadas came from a literary family: his maternal grandfather, Damodor Sen, was the writer of Sangeet Damodar, and his brother, Ramchandra Sen, used to write poems in Bangla and Sanskrit. Both Ramchandra and Govindadas were initiated intovaisnavism by Sreenivas Acharya. After his initiation, Govinda
So people have got the tendency for sense gratification. That is the material disease. So instead of satisfying your senses, try to satisfy the senses of Krsna. Then you become liberated. This is called cikitsitam. There is sense gratification. Here when you chant and dance, this is not your sense gratification; this is Krsna's sense gratification: "Oh, these devotees, they are glorifying Me, they are dancing. Blessed they are." Immediately you draw attention of Krsna, because it is bhakti.

Moscow: Press Trust of India says that a court in Tomsk has turned down a petition that asked for a ban on a translated version of Bhagavad Gita.
The petition was originally filed in June in Siberia and has created a diplomatic stress point for India and Russia.
India's External Affairs Minister SM Krishna met the Russian Ambassador Alexander Kadakin earlier this week to discuss the matter.
Prosecutors in the Siberian city of Tomsk have argued that the Russian translation of "Bhagavad Gita As It I

My wife Jitamitra and I became close to Yamuna and Dinatarine Prabhus over the last five years. We run a fairly intense college outreach program. Some years ago, looking for a place to get away during the summer breaks, we decided to spend some time in Saranagati, as we had lived and served in Vancouver temple years ago and had many friends there.

In 1971 Srila Prabhupada went to Allahabad for the Ardha-kumbha-mela, and Yamuna-devi and I were in the party that accompanied him. Srila Prabhupada spoke on the story of Ajamila and the holy name, from the Sixth Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam. Only the first two cantos had been translated and published, so Prabhupada read from his Sanskrit Bhagavatam with commentaries, sometimes translating from Sridhara Svami’s and occasionally from Jiva Gosvami’s. While there, I heard that Srila Prabhupada had sa
