Sri Sri Sikshashtakam Prayers

Eight Instructions by Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu instructed His disciples to write books on the science of Krishna, a task which His followers have continued to carry out down to the present day.
The elaborations and expositions on the philosophy taught by Lord Caitanya are, in fact, the most voluminous, exacting, and consistent, due to the system of disciplic succession. Although Lord Caitanya was widely renowned as a scholar in His youth,
So therefore this affection is the very hard knot for being bound up in this material world, this affection. Therefore the Vedic civilization is that the affection is to be cut off compulsory at a certain age, not that the affection should continue. If the affection continues, then there is no chance of my becoming free from this material world. There is no chance. Therefore vanaprastha. Because the wife's..., affection with the wife, is very, very strong. So vanaprastha means the husband and wi

Spirit is undying (eternal), internal and God’s fingerprint. Religion is temporary, external and man’s concoction. The Vedas teach “Sanatan Dharma” which eclipses religion and can restore the eternal soul to its pure original condition.
The impersonalists have come up with yet another catchy formula to bolster up their own radically independent concepts of what “Spirituality” consists of. The latest euphemism for promo

It’s extremely rare to find a successful person who whines, complains, and frets about his circumstances. This is despite the fact that he may have overcome great obstacles to achieve his level of success. On the other hand, it’s extremely common for struggling individuals to continually blame their circumstances for their lack of joy and happiness.
The real question is: what came first – the attitude or the success? T

When someone is doing something or is about to do something, in a way we don’t want it to be done and when we are not able to accept it, we become angry.
However, When someone is doing something or is about to do something, in a way we don’t want it to be done - and we are able to accept it- we remain tolerant.
When someone has something which we don’t have, or someone is able to produce the results which we are not able
The Holy Cow:- The sacred Ness of the cow is a central and crucial element in Hindu belief. The cow is supposed to be the living symbol of Mother Earth. For the
early migrants the cow was an indispensable member of the family. As agriculture was the occupation of the migrants, the cow provided them with milk and its byproducts and also necessities of life such as fuel, manure for the farm, etc. During this time the Aryans prayed to their numerous gods through ‘yagna’ (from ‘yaj’, to worship). Th
Bhakti means to be free from the attachment of this material world and to become attached to Krsna. Because you have to attach to something. You cannot become unattached. That is not possible. So, in order to become attached to Krsna or to enter into the devotional service of the Lord, one has to become detached from this material affection. That is wanted. Ordinarily, they go to Krsna for maintaining the attachment with this material world. Just like, "O God, give us our daily bread." That mean

Once, there was a pristine green field that was alive and lush, amidst the extraordinary bloom of springtime. Next to it happened to sit another field. This one was full of weeds, dirt and rough edged stones. This field was a testament to mediocrity and an acute lack of care.
Through the operation of nature's laws, the seeds of the weeds from the mediocre field were slowly blown over to the lush field. And so, day by d

Some time I still saying that during Krishna’s time if there were photographers and video graphers then we could have watched the video of Krishna’s pastime video live as it is, we could have seen the photographs of those times. But there as then I was listening to Radhanath Maharaj speak, it was just like watching the video no need of these machine (devotees laugh). Maharaj gets into quite a few intricate details of the pastimes that he paints a beautiful and complete pi
