Difference between God & Dog

Difference between God & Dog

We often walk across from big bungalows to small houses; where we see that the statues/idols of God are put at the entrance of the house in a small – one or two feet cabin with a zero watt bulb on the head of the idol / statue.

Depending on their livelihood; people live in a palatial; luxurious; comfortable houses with chairs, sofa sets; divans; foam beds; ACs; PCs; having a living room, dining room, bedroom and even the bathrooms – a very spacious ones.  But coming to God, most of them do not have separate puja room; rather prefer to arrest the idols / photos of God in an almiraha; in which salt; pepper and chilly are kept on the top rack and comb, face power and body lotions are kept in the bottom rack of the same almiraha.

Treating God inferior to Dog; now a days; people are putting the statues/idols at the entrance of their house and strangely; the one who pets; are treating the Dog more than God; providing them Good shelter; good feed and in few cases; the so called Dog God sleeps in A.C. rooms on foam beds in tight hug of their masters.  But unfortunately; Gods are positioned as Dogs at the entrance of the house just like a pumpkin tied in front of house as a belief that others envy would not affect the owner of the house.

One should have a deep self-introspection on the above and try to accommodate as much as possible a neat and tidy place for God inside the house; provide an Altar; place the God in the Altar.  As we take four meals a day – breakfast; lunch; snacks and dinner, similarly, offer ghee lamp; incense sticks; Prasad and Aarati to God at least once in a day and give meaning to your life by showing your faithfulness; gratitude; love; affection and respect to God.

Using materialistic intelligence and logic, critics comment that God sees our heart and intentions more than our actions.  Yes, it is very true.  But if you feel thirst and hungry; would you immediately drink some water and eat some recipe or simply feel in your heart that you drank water and ate some food?

Therefore, let us all treat the God as God and Dog as Dog; or else next birth; pure for sure, you will be the Dog.

Whether to be or not to be a Dog in the next birth, Choice is yours.
