In the Padma Purana it mentions that another kalpa, Hiranyakashipu asked, "I can't be killed by a man, by animal, by deva, not by anything dead or alive", but he did'nt mention "in our out". Like in this lila it is not 'inside or outside', but in that lila he didn't mention that. So that's...didn't have to be killed in the door-way. In the Sudarsana-sata-nama stotra of the Sri Vaishnava sampradaya, it is said that Lord Narayana's Sudarshana Chakra descended as the tusk of Varaha, the axe of Parasurama, and the nails of Nrsimha. In this way, the nails of Nrsimha accompany the Lord in His various avatars. Sri Madhavacharya worships the power of Lord Nrsimha's nails in his Nakha-Stuti.

Now allow me to tell a true story that happened some 10 years ago in South Africa. The father and the daughter who experienced this event told this story to my friend, a sannyasi and devotee of Lord Nrsimhadev. This stories was also found in the newspapers, and several witnesses of this truck-accident after this incident became devotees of Lord Nrsimhadev. This happened to a simple Vaishnava family that lives there. They had back then a 5 years old daughter. This girl was a great "fan of Nrsimha
