Question: Vivekananda, Football, and Eggplant?

I wanted to know what is your view (the Vaishnava view) of Swami Vivekananda's quote that it is better to play football than to read the Bhagavad-gita.

Also, he had a similar view on the Tulasi plant wherein he recommends to grow an eggplant instead.

Well one idea I have had for some time now is why don't book distributors have a nice A5 or A 4 laminated photo with them. On this photo is a picture and description of a entire book case with every ISKCON book and maybe a little alter and a space for Tulsi etc etc. The book case could be of various designs modern and classic depending on the style of the persons house...but contain every book and some paraphernalia.
