Thought Of The Day

So Krsna can see within our mind how much we are surrendered and how much we are after material enjoyment. Therefore the best thing is we have to make zero. Anyabhilasita-sunyam [Brs. 1.1.11]. Sunyam means zero. Unless we make everything zero, simply Krsna fact... Krsna is only fact, and everything zero. Without Krsna, everything zero. Just like one is one and, zero is zero, but when zero is added with one, it becomes ten immediately, ten times, similarly, this material world is zero, and Krsna

Sri Sri Guru Gaurangau Jayatah

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

We attended the Vyasa Puja of His Holiness Bhakti Vikasa Swami in Dwaraka. From Tamil Nadu in South India to Dwaraka it takes almost 50 hours by train. Usually such long journeys are quite exhausting and boring but this time it was different.

This time we took with us a full box of Srila Prabhupada's books for distribution. We experienced an incredible journey. We met many nice people who took bo

Today in Bhaktivedanta Manor, (Watford, London, UK) I bumped into  a young white gentleman and asked him if I could show him around Prabhupad's room. (Every Sunday I do the seva of tour).  He asked his mother and they both were ready for the  tour inside the temple building. They told me that the young man's grandmother, (from his father's side) whose name is Anandini devi dasi, who is very old and not well back in Russia, was one of the translators of Bhagawat Gita from English into Russian abo

A man asked his father-in-law, "Many people praised you for a successful marriage. Could you please share with me your secret?"

The father-in-law answered with a smile, "Never criticize your wife for her shortcomings.”

Always bear in mind that because of her shortcomings and weaknesses, she could not find a better husband than you."

We all look forward to being loved and respected.

Generally, when a person makes a mistake,

Does religion make us helpless?

Hare Krsna

Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

Answer Summary: Not at all. To the contrary, religion offers us help when life makes us helpless.
Answer:
The claim that “religion makes us helpless” begs the question: how exactly does religion make us helpless? By teaching that everything is destined by an omnipotent God and nothing is in our hands?
A fundamental and universal teaching of religion is that we should do certain things and avoid certain things. This teachin

Grihastha Ashram: The mood, life and direction.

The Supreme Lord Himself established the Varnashram system so as to maintain a balance in the human society and enable us to cultivate higher consciousness, irrespective of which social and/or spiritual order we find ourselves. Don't Be Complacent

It is very important that we tune our intelligence to the good fortune that we have received & never take it for granted , That is why it is important to associate with people who truly understand the value of the gift we have received and hearing from them .
When we read srila prabhupada books , when we come to the classes of devotees ,when we listen to tapes , we should actually have this intent ,not just to hear as entertainment but to understand , I desperately need to
