The single has received more public airplay since 2000 than Imagine by John Lennon and the Liverpool band’s Hey Jude, which was the first single released on the label in the UK 50 years ago.
My Sweet Lord went to number one upon its original release in 1970 and again in 2002 when it was re-issued following Harrison’s death.

George Harrison Changed My Life!

There was a fanzine called “Write Thing” and in one issue, there is this story about an American fan named Kim Korstand, who met George while studying in Berlin in 1976. This is in the Oct/Nov 1978 issue.

 George Harrison passed away eighteen years ago.  He was not only a great musician but a good human being.  He attracted thousands of people to the lifestyle of bhakti/devotion, through his music.  He once wrote:
