Sri Sri Vitthal Rukn\mini - Pandharpur Dham

Respected Maharajas and Devotees,
Please accept our humble obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Sridham Pandharpur is abode of Lord Krishna , here lord is residing in self-manifested deity form for his Devotees to give Darshan and allows everyone to touch his lotus feet on request of Bhakta Pundalika . Lord appeared here with his consort Rukmini Devi and famously known as Lord Vitthala.

Ashadhi Ekadashi is the most auspicious day and on this day, millions of people come from all over and mainly from Maharashtra divotees come by walking bare feet by taking all troubles just to take darshan of Lord and take Bath in Mother Chandrabhaga which is not different from River Ganga and Yamuna. Whoever takes bathe in this sacred river will be free from all sins.

Sridham Pandharpur is Holy place where all acharyas like..... Rmanujacharya,Mdhavacharya,Vallabhacharya and many more famous saints would frequently come to stay and take darshan of Lord. From Gaudiya Vaishnava point of view this is very imp place where Lord Chaitanya came and stayed during his travel, Lord Nityananda came here and took initiation and Lord Vishvambhara, elder brother of Lord Chaitanya stayed here chose this place as kshetra Sanyasa and lived here till end of his life.
