- At the end of the class, one devotee asked as which is more important than other i.e., Saadhna (Efforts / Practice) or Krupa (Mercy). Maataji has very beautifully explained that both Saadhana & Krupa are required for progress in one’s devotional life. Without Saadhana, one cannot get Mercy. A beautiful example was given that many people say that we don’t have mercy of the Lord, that’s why we could not go to the temple. That’s wrong. First we should put our saadhana / efforts to go to temple

Maataji narrated that many devotees asked Maataj as why so many devotees lost their lives, many got separated, many suffered with wounds, many left untraced in the recent natural calamities, who have gone for Chaar Dhaam Yaatra….. why they were punished? Why they were cursed? Is it the wrong / sin did the people done going for pilgrimage and is it the result that God gives? And so on and so on……….
And Maataji replied as under:-

- In the 7th Chapter, Text 12 of Bhagavad Gita, Lord says “Know that all states of being – be they of goodness, passion or ignorance – are manifested by My energy. I am, in one sense, everything, but I am independent. I am not under the modes of material nature, for they, on the contrary, are within Me.
Here, Maataj has clearly explained that though the three modes of nature viz., Satva (Goodness), Rajo (Passion) and Tamo (Ignorance) have manifested from God, but still how HE is not influenced b
- Parable of a Dead Donkey:-
Maataji has very beautifully narrated a parable of a dead donkey just to explain as how a devotee can use the situation of his crisis period / bad days / weak position and divert himself towards God and gain multiple times like a character in a parable of a Dead Donkey…..and the parable starts like this…..
Once upon a time, in USA, there was one person, who was in deep financial crisis. He has brought one roaming Donkey to his house. His wife asked as what he will do
- To see Krishna in everyone, in everything, at everyplace and in every incident, we should have and develop Bhaav / Feeling for him. Here, Maataji gives a beautiful example that Jayadeva Goswami whenever goes to bath, he spends hours together.
Reason was that whenever he sees the water, he recollects the holy river Yamuna and whenever he recollects Yamuna, he recollects Krishna & Radharani and whenever he recollects Krishna & Radharani, he starts crying, he goes into trans, recollecting & relis

So anyway, one who takes shelter of Krsna, he'll not be put into danger. Rest assured. So 'krsna'-sambandha, 'bhakti'-praptyera sadhana. So I have to revive my relationship. Relationship is there; simply I have forgotten. So I have to revive it, or remember it, that "Oh, I am such and such." Vasudevah sarvam iti sa mahatma su-durlabhah [Bg. 7.19]. I have to become a great soul by surrendering unto God. So that surrendering process is bhakti, or devotional service. My relationship is eternal with
Taken from 'The Life of Ramanujacharya'
At that time a very learned scholar was living at Kahci. His name was Yadavaprakasa, and the fame of scholarship had attracted a large group of disciples to him. Being desirous of understanding the Vedic literatures, Ramanuja also became his student, and his pleasant nature and quick intelligence soon endeared him to the great pandita. However, this relationship did not last for very long, for despite his learning and knowledge of the scriptures, Yadavapr
Srila Prabhupada was in New Dwaraka (Los Angeles) in the spring of 1973. Hearing His Divine Grace ring his bell, I immediately went to his room and offered my obeisances. Pointing to the floor near my legs, he looked at me with wide eyes and great concern.
"Do you see that bug?" he asked. Looking around for a few moments, I finally spotted a small insect. I nodded.
In a serious voice Srila Prabhupada said, "I have been watchin
