Dear Swamiji:

Thank you very much for sending me a copy of your letter to the Los Angeles Times, now also published in the Daily Californian. I think you will agree with me that apart from publicity, little is gained by discussing religious or philosophic issues through interviews and letters in the press; but allow me to make two brief observations.

First, I know that devotion to Kr

Srila Prabhupada was sent by the Lord to fulfil Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s prediction "Prtvithe ache yata nagaradi grama, sarvatra pracara haibe more nama" - In every town and village of the world, My name will be heard. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura wrote in his Sajjona-tosani, “Soon there will be a time when the chanting of Krishna’s name will be heard in England, France, Russia, Germany and America.”

Jai Srila Prabhupada!

How will I make them understand this message of Krishna consciousness? I am very unfortunate, unqualified, and the most fallen. Therefore I am seeking Your benediction so that I can convince them, for I am powerless to do so on my own.

He seemed to be perplexed and in anxiety. He was looking out of the window confused and was very carefully reading all the station names. When I enquired about the reason for his restlessness he said – “I am new to Kolkata. I have to reach this particular address at around 10 a.m. And I am not aware as how to reach there.” Other passengers in the metro -train were bit relaxed, not in much anxiety.

Like the passenger in the metro we are also uncertain about our destination. So, we too keep on sear

Thank you, Vijaya prabhu, for the wonderful service of churning and sending out the sankirtan nectar. The following is a recent response from a student in Boulder. We recently met with him for a couple of days, upon returning to Colorado. He is already organizing a Krishna conscious club on campus. It is inspiring to see Srila Prabhupada's words penetrating the hearts of these sincere seekers.
