Should we suppress or express our emotions of sorrow when our fellow-devotees pass away in sudden tragedies?

*Question*: When our fellow-devotees pass away in sudden tragedies, should we express or suppress our emotions of sorrow? Won’t expressing such emotions indicate that we have not understood that they are not their bodies and have actually not died? At the same time, won’t suppressing our emotions make us hard-hearted?

Why does a Krishna-bhakta dutifully performs,  *Nama-Japam*  ( Recitation of Krishna's names) every day?

In this materialistic  age Kali-yugam , *Nama-Japam* is the prescribed ritual for Bhagavan-realization .  It is necessary to bath daily to remove the accumulated dirt from our body . Similarly, *Nama-Japam* cleanses the accumulated dirt in our heart .

I was sitting with a renowned Vedic Jyothishi .  One NRI gentleman arrived there to meet the Jyothishi . He started narrating the severe problems he is encountering now – it included the recent loss of job, domestic problems, continuous bad luck , etc, etc.

That is the conclusion. Here Srimad-Bhagavatam is recommending different demigods for different purposes because there are all classes of men. So to take immediate effect, they worship demigods. Yesterday, I went to ISKCON Temple, Rohini with my family for a glimpse of Lord Jagannath.  We reach temple around 1830 hrs and weather was fine.  Lord Jagannath looking mesmerising.  Later on first Tulsi Maharani Aarti starts and after that Lord Jaganath Aarti and Narsingh Bhagwan Aarti.  All those moments were so beautiful till the time I was in the temple.

So in the material world there cannot be prema. Prema means love. The prema is only possible in the spiritual world. Here, what is going on as love, that is not love, that is lust.
