yoga-sannyasta-karmanam
jnana-sanchinna-samsayam
atmavantam na karmani
nibadhnanti dhananjaya

SYNONYMS

yoga--devotional service in karma-yoga; sannyasta--renounced; karmanam--of the performers; jnana--knowledge; sanchinna--cut by the advancement of knowledge; samsayam--doubts; atma-vantam--situated in the self; na--never; karmani--work; nibadhnanti--do bind up; dhananjaya--O conqueror of riches.

TRANSLATION

Therefore, one who has renounced the fruits of his action, whose doubts are destroye

So by devotional service one should not expect, "My miserable material condition may be improved" or "I may be liberated from this material entanglement." So that is also a kind of sense gratification. If I want that "Let me be free from this entanglement..." Just like the yogis and the jnanis, they try. They try to be free from this material entanglement. But in the devotional service there is no such desire, because it is pure love. There is no expectation that "I shall be profited in this way

Vishnu's divine vehicle is Garuda, a giant eagle, often depicted as having a human body and senses and bird-like forehead, wings, beak and nails. He wears a crown on his head like his master, Vishnu. A true Krishna-bhakta is one who has taken total shelter in Bhagavan Sri Krishna . By doing constant *Nama-japam* ,  he cleanses self and connects with Bhagavan.Naturally, all his actions are his offerings to Krishna. Bhagavan protects such a Bhakta and showers him with eternal success.

A couple bought a donkey from the market. On the way home, a boy commented, "Very stupid. Why neither of them rides on the donkey?" Upon hearing that, the husband let the wife ride on the donkey.

He walked besides them. Later, an old man saw it and commented, "The husband is the head of family. How can the wife ride on the donkey while the husband is on foot?"

Prabhupäda: That is Kåñëa's desire. I don't want, personally, but if Kåñëa wants, that is everything. We have got more hundred and two centers, different parts of the world.

Prabhupäda: Hare Kåñëa. You give him two more samosas, he likes it. So now you can begin also. Yes. All the boys and girls are so nicely qualified for Kåñëa's service.

George Harrison: They are looking better and better all the time. It's nice for me to see Gurudäsa. He's turning into a mountain. (laughter)
