Hare Krsna

Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

When once acts for selfish enjoyment, that is called karma-kanda.  When one desires to attain freedom from activity through knowledge, action karma-kanda becomes jnana-yoga or karma-yoga.  When such activities are performed in a way that is conductive to the attainment of Bhakti, they are called jnana-bhakta-yoga or subsidiary devotional practices.  But only those activities characterized by the principles of pure worship are called Bhakti proper.
