SYNONYMS

pavanah--the wind; pavatam--of all that purifies; asmi--I am; ramah--Rama; sastra-bhrtam--of the carriers of weapons; aham--I am; jhasanam--of all aquatics; makarah--shark; ca asmi--I am also; srotasam--of flowing rivers; asmi--I am; jahnavi--the River Ganges.

Lord Chaitanya travelled Maharashtra 500th years ago in 1514. The path which he followed by walking and holy places which he visited, ISKCON conducted one new padayatra in same route in this year of 2014 which is 500 th anniversay year. This Padayatra started two months before and is now about to end on 1st of JULY 2014 at NASIK.

During his visit to Maharashtra,

We are all innately pleasure-seeking.
Gita wisdom explains that we being souls, eternal parts of Krishna, can find the supreme pleasure by serving him with loving devotion. For those who don’t have such devotion and primarily seek worldly pleasures, the Gita recommends scriptural sacrifices that help them attain those pleasures. More importantly, such sacrifices instill an ethos of selflessness and infuse an awareness of the divine. This gradually paves the way for the awakening of selfless love

At the time of reminiscing the wonderful Vaisnava qualities of HG Advaita Hari prabhu at this moment of grief in separation from him, Mayapur GBCom is grateful for his service to Mayapur and would like to express their deep condolences to his grieving family and the devotee community in Mayapur and worldwide. Many people (especially my peers and friends from school) seem to understand why I don't eat meat. But they're always rendered perplexed  when I tell them I also don't eat onion and garlic. While people are now getting used to the term, "vegetarianism", going "onion and garlic less" is still weird and unusual to many. Why don't we eat onion and garlic? There are many reasons why: 

1) They cannot be offered to Lord Krishna.

2) They increase ignorance and passion.

At 4:00 a.m., the kaviraja arrived, along with Jayapataka Swami.  As the kaviraja began to examine Srila Prabhupada, the mangala-arati bells began to ring, making us feel that his coming was auspicious.  The kaviraja had stayed up all night on the plane.

Prabhupada asked for a report of Mayapur from Jayapataka who said, "We want to finish the big temple within your lifetime so nothing will be left incomplete."
