The Bhagavad Gita is the song of God.
Some interpreters see the Bhagavad Gita as an allegorical fable and dismiss
the war completely as a literary device.
Comparing Kurukshetra to the body, they believe Arjuna symbolizes the
Jivatma (individual soul) and Krishna the Paramatma (supersoul). The
Kauravas with their opposing army, apparently represent the thousands of
sinful inclinations that confront and threaten to overwhelm the individual
soul.

SYNONYMS

The mode of goodness conditions one to happiness, passion conditions him to the fruits of action,
In the path of Krsna consciousness the first principle is enthusiasm. If you lack enthusiasm then other things will not happen. And you can keep enthusiastic if you follow the rules and regulation and chant regularly Hare Krsna mantra. Otherwise that enthusiasm also will dry. So six things are required for advancing Krsna consciousness. The first thing is enthusiasm. Utsahan dhairyat. And patient. And niscayad, with conviction, firm conviction.
