Here in ISKCON Kathwada it’s about to complete one year of temple opening and this was our first Gaura Purnima, more than 500 people visited temple on the occasion of ‘Festival of Holi’. This was surprise for us to having such huge crowd on Gaura Purnima. Kolkata, Mar 2 (UNI) The West Bengal Government and ISKCON will jointly set up a Vedic Centre for Culture and Education at the Gangasagar fairground on Sagar Island to promote spiritual tourism.

The two are also jointly working to build a world-class fountain park, community hall and light-and-sound exhibition to attract visitors.

Gangasagar is visited by thousands of people from all over the country during Makar Sankranti. Because of better road connectivity both domestic and foreign tourists

Holi celebrations at the ISKCON Temple are known to be one of the biggest in New Zealand. This event is visited by not just members of the Indian community but by almost every ethnic group present in Auckland.

Hosted at the massive open grounds of the Hare Krishna Temple in Kumeu, almost 40 kilometres from Auckland CBD on Sunday, February 25, the event witnesses one of the biggest footfalls in the country for Holi celebrations.
