The photos of my murti are very nice. The murti of the Spiritual Master should be treated as good as the Deity. Saksad-dharitvena samasta-sastrair, uktas tatha bhavyata eva sadbhih/kintu prabhor yah priya eva tasya, The guru should be treated as good as God. This is stated in all the sastras. The difference is that God is master-God and guru is servant-God. So the installation ceremony for such a murti should be similar

Srila Prabhupada, the founder-acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) left voluminous instructions for the Governing Body Commission (GBC) on how he wanted them to lead and care for this spiritual movement. For those who may not know, the GBC is composed of thirty-three members presently, and is responsible for overseeing the management and spiritual standards of ISKCON centers around the world.  As one can imagine, this is a great deal of responsibility for these

The day began with a presentation on the success the GBC has had in their strategic planning work.  These include ground-breaking events like the ISKCON Leadership Sanga (ILS), which took place in 2012 and brought over 500 leaders to Mayapur from around the world.  Inspiring and thought-provoking presentations were given on a variety of topics, including book distribution, communications, education, and creating effective temple management systems.

SYNONYMS

jnanam--phenomenal knowledge; te--unto you; aham--I; sa--with; vijnanam--noumenal knowledge; idam--this; vaksyami--shall explain; asesatah--in full; yat--which; jnatva--knowing; na--not; iha--in this world; bhuyah--further; anyat--anything more; jnatavyam--knowable; avasisyate--remains to be known.

TRANSLATION

I shall now declare unto you in full this knowledge both phenomenal and noum

Prabhupada: You may be in any material condition. Still you can develop your spiritual consciousness. That is there. But sometimes we accept a certain position for our personal convenience. That is another thing. But spiritual consciousness is not dependent on any material condition. It is spontaneous. Either he's a householder or a sannyasi or brahmacari or business man, or... It doesn't matter. He can become fully Krsna conscious if he accepts the principles.
