yo me bhaktya prayacchati

SYNONYMS

patram--a leaf; puspam--a flower; phalam--a fruit; toyam--water; yah--whoever; me--unto Me; bhaktya--with devotion; prayacchati--offers; tat--that; aham--I; bhakti-upahrtam--offered in devotion; asnami--accept; prayata-atmanah--of one in pure consciousness.

TRANSLATION

If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, fruit or water, I will accept it.

Now a days many people ask what is the need of Guru. There is God and there is me.. I can directly relate with him. Recently one movie, OMG showed that for knowing God, one does not need a middle man. In the movie, Krishna gives the distressed person Gita and tells him that he will find solutions to all his problems by reading Gita.

When I contemplate on it, I think surely Gita has solutions to all the problems, but people forget  that Gita was revealed by Lord Krishna to Arjuna, not to everyone
