Pranam Prabhu, please bless me a lot. When Krishna came to Earth to preach nonviolence, why are there still violence in the form of meat eating? Krishna knows the future that In Kali-yuga people will eat meat. After knowing this fact, why did Krishna still try to make meat eating disappear? I mean what was the point of Lord Buddha preaching when in the future there will be lots of meat eating?

There are always good people who follow the rules and regulations as laid by Lord and there are always bad people who trangress or voilate the rules and regulations.
Teachings are there to follow. If they follow well, it is good for them. If they don't we know Kalki avatar is arriving soon.
to kill all the voilaters of rules on a wholesale basis.

Then, in the beginning of Kali-yuga, the Lord will appear as Lord Buddha, the son of Añjanā, in the province of Gayā, just for the purpose of deluding those who are envious of the faithful theist.(SB 1.3.24)
