Hare Krishna
Based on what SP and his followers have spoken in many many lectures, sex in any form or artificial stimulation of genitals or experience of pleasure of sex which is not for the purpose of begetting a child is considered Illicit sex. Sex for the purpose of begetting child with a person other than one's religiously/legally wedded spouse is also considered Illicit sex. Sex for purpose of begetting child with one's own religiously wedded spouse must be carried after appropriate smaskaras, which in ISKCON consists of chanting at least 50 rounds of Hare Krishna mahamantra by both individuals.
1. Keeping in mind the above considerations once in a month of association is allowed as instructed by Srila prabhupad.
2. If an initiated devotees indulges in physical association more than once, even after understanding the instructions, it is likely to be considered illicit. This will lead to karma and offence. Karma will go to spiritual master and the individual. Offence will be on the part of the individual. This can cause serious problems in one's practice of bhakti, even to the extent of stopping chanting and not associating with devotees
3. If one does without chanting 50 rounds then the children produced by such acts may not have krishna conscious inclination by birth. And since the individuals have acted upon by desire, the children are likely to have very strong enjoying mentality in material or sinful sense. This is in addition to karma and offence. as previously mentioned even spiritual master gets the karma
4. If a non initiated devotee indulges then the individual alone will get karma and offence. Also the child will have strong enjoying inclinations.

hari bol!!!
I will give your different and most apparent response!
If you are really afraid of lord's punishment and if you believe his judgement, you must consider these lines.
According to Garuda Purana (one of the sattvik purana out of six sattvik purana and delivered by Supreme Lord to Garuda): The people engaged in illicit sex are thrown in Hell named as Salmali and this is how your "yatana deh" gets treated: This Naraka is intended for men and women who have committed adultery outside marriage. An idol made of iron, heated red-hot is placed there. The sinner is forced to embrace it, while Yama’s servants flog the victim behind.
This is also confirmed in srimad bhagavatam.
In gita, lord krishna says " you must do all the work which pleases Lord Vishnu. By offering all the KARMA PHALAS to him you wont be agitated by the opposite reaction of the deeds"...BG 3.9 (http://vedabase.com/en/bg/3/9)
Hari Bol!!! Bol Hari!!! Govind Bol!!!! Krishna Bol!!!! Narayan Bol!!!!
Another verse from Mukunda Mala Stotram--
kara-caraṇa-saroje kāntiman-netra-mīne
śrama-muṣi bhuja-vīci-vyākule 'gādha-mārge
hari-sarasi vigāhyāpīya tejo-jalaughaḿ
bhava-maru-parikhinnaḥ kleśam adya tyajāmi
TRANSLATION
The desert of material existence has exhausted me. But today I will cast aside all troubles by diving into the lake of Lord Hari and drinking freely of the abundant waters of His splendor. The lotuses in that lake are His hands and feet, and the fish are His brilliant shining eyes. That lake's water relieves all fatigue and is agitated by the waves His arms create. Its current flows deep beyond fathoming.
PURPORT
In this prayer King Kulaśekhara employs an elaborate metaphor comparing the Lord's all-attractive form to a rejuvenating lake. If a devotee dives into that lake and drinks its waters, all his exhaustion from material life will go away. We simply have to plunge into devotional service by hearing about Kṛṣṇa, chanting His glories, and
remembering Him. Why don't we all do it? It is illusion that makes us think there is no relief here, or that the lake is a mirage. Or, out of foolish attachment to material activities, we may think it's irresponsible to dive into the ocean of pleasure that is Kṛṣṇa consciousness. "Where is that lake?" we think. "I would gladly jump into it if I could find it. But it sounds like the legendary fountain of youth."
When we show the nondevotees the Lord's form and invite them to serve Him, they refuse. They think He's just an ordinary man or a mythical figure. But there is a "lake of Lord Hari," and there are aquatics sporting in it — the Lord's pure devotees, who have no cares or fear or anger or lust. They have dived into that lake and are free of all material exhaustion. In body, mind, and spirit we grow tired, but the waters of this lake relieve all our fatigue.
Elsewhere in the Vedic literature we hear of lakes such as Bindu-sarovara, where Devahūti was revived and made beautiful again after her long austerities. But the effect of immersing oneself in the lake of Lord Hari is not the restoration of youth, which will soon be exhausted again. It is eternal relief from saḿsāra, the repetition of birth and death.
We may attain attraction to the Lord's form by worshiping the Deity in the temple and hearing descriptions of His form in the śāstra. Also, chanting and hearing His names evokes attraction to His form, which the Lord eventually manifests to the pure chanter. As we become attracted to the form of the Lord, we will give up trying to enjoy other forms, an effort that simply leads to exhaustion. We will know then that only Kṛṣṇa can satisfy us.
All will beget the same effect that you will be deviated from the Supreme goal of Krishna Consciousness and an animal lofe will drain out all vital energy required to wake up your dormant consciousness and there will be no escape from the cycle of life . Krishna is called Madan-mohana the enchanter of the Cupid. Therefore, He is attractive to every living entity. Once we are attracted by His Supreme Beauty which has no parallel, we will freed from all sexual urges. For this, we will have to chant His name since it is the best way of realizing God. Sex for begetting a goof Krishna Conscious children is fine. As Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita---
prajanaś cāsmi kandarpaḥ
TRANSLATION
Of causes for procreation I am Kandarpa
PURPORT
Sometimes sex is engaged in only for sense gratification; such sex does not represent Krishna. But sex for the generation of good children is called Kandarpa and represents Krishna.
We shouldn't have sex at the cost of Krishna Consciousness. Everything should be done for the service of Lord. Sex is fine if it's used as a service to Krishna. In that case we are following the regulative principles, but if it makes KC subordinate to it, it's simply waste of energy. God should occupy more space, or best to say, the entire space and time of your life. That is the life of an ideal devotee. If you let Krishna enter your life and steal your heart just as the gopis would let Krishna steal into their house and take butter and enjoy seeing His wonderful pastimes, you will too feel the supreme bliss in the same way as the gopis felt. Then sex will become so unimportant. What you have to do is to surrender yourself to Krishna, follow the regulative principles-no illicit sex, no meat eating, no gambling, no intoxication, and chant His Holy Name.
Here I extract a verse of Mukunda Mala Stotram that gives us a glimpse Supreme bliss of KC and the inferiority of mundane sex---
madana parihara sthitiḿ madīye
manasi mukunda-padāravinda-dhāmni
hara-nayana-kṛśānunā kṛśo 'si
smarasi na cakra-parākramaḿ murāreḥ
TRANSLATION
O Cupid, abandon your residence in my mind, which is now the home of Lord Mukunda's lotus feet. You have already been incinerated by Lord Śiva's fiery glance, so why have you forgotten the power of Lord Murāri's disc?
PURPORT
This is a bold challenge to Cupid, who can usually subdue everyone, including aspiring transcendentalists. As Lord Kapila says to His mother, "Just try to understand the mighty strength of Mymāyā in the shape of a woman, who by the mere movement of her eyebrows can keep even the greatest conquerors of the world under her grip" (Bhāg. 3.31.38).
A devotee can challenge Kāmadeva (Cupid) in such a feisty way because devotees constantly meditate on Lord Kṛṣṇa, who destroys Cupid's influence. Here King Kulaśekhara is giving fair warning toKāmadeva to leave the king's mind or risk destruction for a second time. The reference here is to an incident in which Kāmadeva tried to shoot his arrows at Lord Śiva to arouse lust in him. Lord Śivaretaliated by burning Kāmadeva to ashes with his glance. Kāmadeva should have learned his lesson from that incident. If not, King Kulaśekhara warns that Lord Kṛṣṇa will have no trouble destroyingKāmadeva with His disc and freeing His devotee's mind of lust.
Kāmadeva is also called Madana, a name that means "one who attracts." But Lord Kṛṣṇa is known as Madana-mohana, "the bewilderer of Cupid." In other words, Kṛṣṇa is so transcendentally attractive that anyone who absorbs his mind in Him will not be troubled by sex desire. Furthermore, Lord Kṛṣṇa's consort, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, is called Madana-mohana-mohinī because She alone can captivate even Kṛṣṇa.
In all the world's religions, ascetics have practiced renunciation, and Kāmadeva always tests them and gives them trouble. Often, despite one's best attempts at purification, one thinks of the opposite sex at the time of death. Then one has to come back in the cycle of birth and death, to be again attracted and again suffer the miseries of material life. Even the powerful mystic Viśvāmitrabecame a victim of the beauty of Menakā, united with her, and begot Śakuntalā.
But the bhaktas have discovered an infallible shelter from Cupid — absorption in the beauty of Kṛṣṇa. One who is captivated by the beauty of Kṛṣṇa is not victimized by lust. As Śrī Yāmunācārya sings,
yad-avadhi mama cetaḥ kṛṣṇa-pādāravinde
nava-nava-rasa-dhāmany udyataḿ rantum āsīt
tad-avadhi bata nārī-sańgame smaryamāne
bhavati mukha-vikāraḥ suṣṭhu niṣṭhīvanaḿ ca
"Since my mind has been engaged in the service of the lotus feet of Lord Kṛṣṇa and I have been enjoying ever-new transcendental pleasure in that service, whenever I think of sex with a woman my face at once turns from it, and I spit at the thought."
jai sri krsna & PAMHO
i agree with jenny. i too dont know much about this in detail but heres what i have learned ..the whole point of copulation is to bring about the development of a krishna conscious child to this world. my prabhuji had once told that the reason 50 rounds of mahamantra is needed before the physical union of a married couple was only to purify the act and to ensure the birth of a krishna conscious child.
prabhujis please correct me if im wrong.
hare krsna.
pamho:agtsp;
kindly put in simple words i can't understand complex english.
i really don't wants to hurt someones feelings but my self struggling in life.i am not confidant whether i can follow standards .please forgive me and guide me.
It's ok Nilesh. We are all here to learn as I as well. I can't answer all these, but as I have learned. No illicit sex means no sex outside of marriage and if you are married, copulation is only encouraged to bring about a child to this world. I'am still learning about customs or rules as well but that is what I know of.
