' sarvatah pani-padam tat sarvato - 'ksi-siro-mukham
sarvatah sruti-mal loke sarvam avrtya tisthati '
" Everywhere are His hands and legs, His eyes, heads and faces, and He has ears everywhere. In this way the Supersoul exists, pervading everything. "
Bhagavad-gita (13.14)
If the Soul doesn't need any structure then the above statement of the Lord is incorrect. The soul is qualitatively one with the Supersoul. If the Supersoul must possess an all-pervasive body as pointed out above by the Lord. The soul cannot be without structure or body.
The dimensions of the soul are very small, one ten thousandth of tip of hair but it has form. It is not formless like air. Form starts from the element ' fire '. Sky and air is considered formless in Vedic descriptions.
Spirit soul is invisible because it is not material. Material eyes cannot look at soul. Even material mind intelligence which are subtle matter are invisible. Even air is invisible. Heat also to large extend is invisible.
so basically it has no well defined structure?
Strcuture is for gross material things. Soul doesn't need any structure.
According to quantum theory also, a small particle may act as a wave. It is not clearly defined. Therefore, as you have rightly quoted Bg 2.25. The soul is invisible and inconceivable.
So what if you haven't used the word ' nirakara '. When you say the soul does not need any structure and when you compare it to ' formless ' substances like air and heat, the implication is same.
As far as invisibility is concerned it is described in the PURPORT to Bg 2.25: ' the magnitude of the soul is so small for our material calculation that he cannot be seen even by the most powerful microscope; therefore, he is invisible.
If the soul is atomic by our comparison, it doesn't mean it is without structure.
Actually the reason why I am attacking your statements is that you are simply quoting from sastra without any realization of the ' soul '. Isn't it?

Even if you have some realization, it is bogus because you haven't seen the Truth.

How does soul looks like?
Spirit soul is invisible because it is not material. Material eyes cannot look at soul. Even material mind intelligence which are subtle matter are invisible. Even air is invisible. Heat also to large extend is invisible.

Please forgive me for being so offensive.
Actually you are right.

If the soul is ' invisible ' nirakara
The word Nirakar has not been used for soul by me. The word used by me is Invisible
This word invisible is also coming from description of soul given by Sri Krsna in Bhagavad Gita
avyakto ’yam acintyo ’yam
avikāryo ’yam ucyate
tasmād evaṁ viditvainaṁ
nānuśocitum arhasi
It is said that the soul is invisible, inconceivable and immutable. Knowing this, you should not grieve for the body. ( BG 2.25)

the bogus wars begin!!
esteemed devotees please excuse me..couldn't help to put in the comment..
If the soul is ' invisible ' nirakara as you say then how come Lord Krishna says in BG 2.29 that some look on the soul as amazing?
