With reference to below 2 verses in bhagawatam:

In SB 8.19.7: When Hiraṇyakaśipu heard the news of his brother's being killed, with great anger he went to the residence of Viṣṇu, the killer of his brother, wanting to kill Lord Viṣṇu.

SB 8.19.11: Upon seeing that the residence of Lord Viṣṇu was vacant, Hiraṇyakaśipu began searching for Lord Viṣṇu everywhere.

How was it possible for hiranyakasipu to enter visnuloka? Of course he was originally a resident of visnuloka before, but in this birth in the body of hiranyakasipu, how could he go there?

    There is Sada Shiva who stays in Vaikuntha - Spiritual World but there is His expansion who stays in Kuvera Loka within this Universe.

    The second one is not Vishnu Tattva also not jiva tattva but Shiva Tattva.

    Because it is coming from Sada Shiva who stays in Spiritual world.

    please find out His Holiness Mahanidhi Swami Maharaja's 6 hours lecture on Shiva Tattva http://audio.iskcondesiretree.info/index.php?q=f&f=%2F02_-_ISKC...

    Garbhadakashayi Vishnu lies on His own perspiration in Garbhadhaka Ocean-Causal ocean.

    From His navel comes Lotus and the Lord Brahma...

    Maha Vishnu - from whose pores come out unlimited universes

    Garbhodakashayi Vishnu - who fills the Universe with His perspiration and from whose Navel comes out Lotus and then Lord Brahma

    |

    Ksirodakashayi Vishnu - is in every living entity and also stays on Milk Ocean Sweata Dvipa

    Thank you for your answer.

    From what I understood is, hiranyakasipu met Ksiradokshayi Visnu . Correct ? and not Maha Vishnu.

    Because Maha Vishnu (Karanodakasayi vishnu) do not lie down in the material ocean. Karana ocean is spiritual ocean.

      Hare Krsna Alkka,    As Ganesh prabhu mentions Hiranyakashipu did not see Vishnu  because the Lord had hid Himself in the Demons heart.   And yes it was Ksiradokshayi Vishnu of the Vaikuntha of the material world who resides in the heart of everyone.   OK?

    • As per SB 8.19.11: The residence of Lord Viṣṇu was vacant. Hence Hiranyakasipu didn't see any visnu.

  • thank you very much.

      So Lord Vishnu in Sveta dwipa (vaikuntha of material world) is Maha Vishnu  form , from whom all the universes emerges?  Arjun also met Maha Vishnu along with Krishna.Does that mean arjun never went to spiritual world. He was only in material world?. Please advise.

      Jai shree Krishna

        MahaVishnu in the material world is also known as Karanodakasayi Vishnu and he resides in the Casual Ocean (universes are created and destroyed by his breathing). Garbhodakasayi Vishnu (see third image); He enters each of the universes and rests at the "bottom" of each universe upon Lord Ananta Shesha in an ocean made from his perspiration known as the Garbha Oceanand from his navel a lotus flower finds it way to the top of the universe, and in the center of the Lotus Flower, Lord Brahma is created. The Lord of Swetadvipa is Kṣīrodakaśāyī-Viṣṇu ;

        Your answer is within these verses:

        10.89.47

        The Lord's chariot passed over the seven islands of the middle universe, each with its ocean and its seven principal mountains. Then it crossed the Lokaloka boundary and entered the vast region of total darkness.

        ...

        Srimad Bhagavatam 10.89.51

        Following the Sudarsana disc, the chariot went beyond the darkness and reached the endless spiritual light of the all pervasive brahma-jyoti. As Arjuna beheld this glaring effulgence, his eyes hurt, and so he shut them.

        10.89.52

        From that region they entered a body of water resplendent with huge waves being churned by a mighty wind. Within that ocean Arjuna saw an amazing palace more radiant than anything he had ever seen before. Its beauty was enhanced by thousands of ornamental pillars bedecked with brilliant gems.

        10.89.53

        In that palace was the huge, awe-inspiring serpent Ananta Sesha. He shone brilliantly with the radiance emanating from the gems on His thousands of hoods and reflecting from twice as many fearsome eyes. He resembled white Mount Kailasa, and His necks and tongues were dark blue.

        10.89.54

        Arjuna then saw the omnipresent and omnipotent Supreme Personality of Godhead, Maha-Vishnu, sitting at ease on the serpent bed. His bluish complexion was the color of a dense raincloud, He wore a beautiful yellow garment, His face looked charming, His broad eyes were most attractive, and He had eight long, handsome arms. His profuse locks of hair were bathed on all sides in the brilliance reflected from the clusters of precious jewels decorating His crown and earrings. He wore the Kaustubha gem, the mark of Srivatsa and a garland of forest flowers. Serving that topmost of all Lords were His personal attendants, headed by Sunanda and Nanda; His cakra and other weapons in their personified forms; His consort potencies PushtiSriKirti and Aja; and all His various mystic powers.

        ================================

        So to answer your question, yes Arjuna went to the spiritual world.

          Hare Krsna Alka.   The Lord who resides within the universe on the Svetta dwipa is called Ksiradokshayi Visnu.  He is also expanded into the hearts of all the conditioned sould as paramatma.

            Arjuna and Krsna crossed over all the coverings of the material universe and entered the karana ocean situated in the spiritual sky. mahesha dhama..
