Get To A Tree by Bhaktimarga Swami

In these days of devices and screens one is expected to use or maybe over overuse them. I'm enjoying myself in the spring weather of Bengal when especially this year we are encountering the most pleasant breezes yet still it is hard to stay away altogether from a cell phone which does almost everything one needs for the community. One of my actors from Africa needed me to record his lines for the proper pacing in order to hear it over headphones again and again to get his part down as best as

A song called Throw It Away, by the talented Abbey Lincoln, is a song I’ve often sung to call to the Spiritual World in times of distress… I would use the song (and its affect on me) to call to the ancestors to impart guidance and wisdom in times of material crisis – of which I’ve had my share.

I think about the life I live… I think about the things I lost, the things I gave away…
when I’m in a certain mood I search the house…
one night I found these magic words in a magic book

There is definitely an increase of pilgrims, visiting Mayapura. Mind you the weekends are obviously more full. The place is very attractive with its gardens, architecturally fine buildings and there's darshan, deity viewing, bullock cart rides, walking trails, good food, chanting sessions, workshops and clashes etc. There's so many attractions.

Is Lord Krisna testing me?

  1. Actually now my class 11th exam is going on, and I have started going to the exam taking the holy tilak on my forehead, but as I belong to a family of non devotee and secular, intellectual type of Bengali family, I can sense that they don't like to see me doing all these,so when I was setting off for school, my mom told me, that I am not at all looking good with these tilak, then told me if you really love God, then keep the devotion in the heart don't show it off,

On February 16, 2024, ISKCON Mayapur joyously commemorated the auspicious appearance day of Sri Advaita Acarya. It is said that material nature has two features, namely, the material cause and the efficient cause. The efficient causal activities are caused by Mahā-Viṣṇu, and the material causal activities are caused by another form of Mahā-Viṣṇu, known as Advaita. That Advaita, the superintendent of the cosmic manifestation, has de

Canada currently had a white cover. The U.K. has a green cover on it's land surface. Unfortunately I could not enjoy either being confined to an airport. I will not complain as long as I see air is moving. Many indoor facilities house dead air, without circulation. That is tough indeed.

When our plane Air Canada 856 in Mumbai about 20 agents, security people and like all responded to my "Hare Krishna!" We are so established in India. They know us. For what? We are erecting temples everywhere

He is indeed by far
The mercy avatar
For he bore the blood
During the love flood

As companion to Gaur
Life was less is more
Distributing a wealth
For everyone's health

Committed to the name
And establishing its fame
He went door to door
In the effort to explore

He went with Haridas
Many gains, no loss
With interesting reception
Prepared for any rejection

Jagai/Madai, there in queue
The loud obnoxious two
Met more than their match
When Nitai did dispatch

Totally drunk as hell

Lord Nityananda is considered to be the most merciful manifestation of the most merciful incarnation of the Lord. The most merciful incarnation is Lord Chaitanya and he manifested his mercy most exuberantly through Lord Nityananda. Though these two transcendental brothers are non-different, still one takes on the mood of the servant of the other – Lord Nityananda considers service to Lord Chaitanya the supreme treasure of his life, indeed, the very purpose of his life.

In his service to Lord Ch
