The day before yesterday Guru Maharaja was taken to the hospital for some scans of the brain to evaluate his inability to speak, for the past few days he has been finding it difficult to speak even though he was alert and aware of things. By mercy of the Lord fortunately there was no sign of any new stroke.

Since I have a new liver and kidney, we have to make sure the body does not reject them. That is why I am having immunosuppressant medicines. That is why I wear mask when I go out. And my caretakers they come close and talk. They have to wear masks and stay away. I don’t like this, I want to embrace all the devotees! HH Jayapataka Swami returned to Mayapur after 3 months on 1 Feb 2020. Maharaja arrived at night 10:30 pm and eagerly welcomed by devotees. He was offered Maha dry fruits garland of Sri Advaita Acharya. He will be in Mayapur for the Gaura Purnima festival. Maharaja personally oversees the arrangements and comforts of his god brothers, leaders, GBCs, devotees worldwide visiting Mayapur during their stay in Mayapur. Here is a recent video of him trying to encourage the distribution of Srila Prabhupada’s books with a Tulabhara.
Tula means scale and bhara means weight. Traditionally, someone sits on one side of the scale and on the other side rice with shell, coconut, banana, different fruits will be stacked, until it is equal to the weight of the person. Then this bhoga is offered to the Lord. Here it seems that the weight of His Holiness in books will be distributed to lucky souls!!!
