There is a verse in the Puranas that states that sannyasa is forbidden in Kali-yuga:

asvamedha gavalambha
sannyasam pala-paitakam
devarena sutotpattim
kalau parca vivarjayet

In this age of Kali, five things should be avoided: one is performing sacrifice by offering cows; performing sacrifice by offering horse; and oblation offering to the forefather

I joined a course by Amogh Lila Prabhu from IYF Dwaraka called SMA/ Spirituality for modern age course. It was a great experience for me, and I got to know a lot more about spirituality! When I got the Covid19 I felt physically terrible with severe joint pains, chest pain and uncontrollable shivering. Yet, I was so at peace, and not only did I manage to chant my twenty rounds every day but even during the worst I spent all my waking time chanting the maha mantra, grateful for such suffering and the focus it gives to what matters and all the mercy Krsna so kindly bestowed.
