During the Shravana paurnami (the full moon day in the month of Shravana), Balarama Purnima (the appearance day of Lord Balarama) is celebrated. This celebration is particularly important to the Dauji temple in Vrindavan, where Balarama and Revati (the consort of Balarama) reside in nitya-lila.
