Krishna-The All Attractive!

fdd.jpgWe have so many false shelters.
My family gives me protection, fallible solders what kind of protection can they give us?
My money will protect me - and then you get some economical crises or suddenly your bank has gone bankrupted and you lose your money or it has no more value.
Like that what security is there in this world?
No security. Simply our only security is Krishna.

The sweet, attractive transcendental form of Krsna is so

nice. Just try to understand it. Even a fractional understanding of Krsna's

beauty can merge all three worlds in the ocean of love. He attracts all the

living entities within the three worlds.

Ornaments caress that body, but the transcendental body of Krsna is so

beautiful that it beautifies the ornaments He wears. Therefore Krsna's body is

said to be the ornament of ornaments. Despite the wonderful beauty of Krsna,

there is His three-curved styl

What Mahabharata says about Krishna's body ?

"Lord Krishna's body does not consist of elemental objects. The man who takes the body of Lord Krishna as material is worth prohibiting from all ritualistic activities, that is to say, he should have no right to make sacrifices in the rituals. Not only this, one, who sees such man's face, should purge himself by bathing along with his clothes on".

Love or Lust—What’s the Difference?

The reciprocation of love between Radha and Krishna is the essence of spiritual love. Because Krishna is the origin of everything, He is the origin of love also. The attraction between boys and girls in the material world is a perverted reflection of the purely spiritual relationship between Radha and Krishna or Jivatman and Paramatman. One who thinks he can be happy through material sexual enjoyment cannot understand the relationship between Radha and Krishna; and, conversely, if one hears abou

Krishna is the Supreme Lord

TA0046

Krishna is the Supreme Person, the Godhead. Krishna is the speaker of the Bhagavad-gita, which is recognized throughout the world as one of mankind’s greatest books of wisdom. In the Gita, as it is also known, Krishna says repeatedly that He is God Himself, the source of everything. Arjuna, to whom Krishna is speaking, accepts Krishna’s words as true, adding that the greatest spiritual authorities of that time also confirm that Krishna is God.

Traditions that follow in the line of these authoriti

GURU

Guru

Two things are necessary for a beautifully finished sculpture. One is a strong piece of marble and the second is the expert sculptor. The piece of marble should but unconditionally remain in the hands of the sculptor, in order to be carved and chiselled into the fine image. The seeker placing himself under the expert guidance of a fully realized Guru, will allow to be carved out and chiselled into the image of perfection. It is also absolutely necessary for the disciple to purify himself thr

What is the great sacrifice for this age?

In this age of Kali, however, the great sacrifice is the performance of sankirtana-yajna.Our Krsna consciousness movement is designed to teach people (and to learn ourselves) the exact instruction of the Personality of Godhead. In this way we shall continuously perform the sankirtana-yajna and continuously chant the Hare Krsna mantra.then at the end of our lives we shall certainlybe able to remember krsna, and our program of life will be successful.

Meditation on Sri RadhaKrishna

2514812657?profile=original

I meditate on two-armed Lord Krishna, who is dark like a monsoon cloud, dressed in yellow garments, garlanded with forest flowers... crowned with a peacock feather, and garlanded with lotus whorls, whose face is splendid like ten million moons, whose eyes move restlessly... whose forehead is marked with tilaka of sandal paste and musk... who is splendid with earrings like two rising suns, whose perspiration-anointed cheeks are like two glistening mirrors... who with

sweets.jpg?width=200The skyrocketing prices of vegetables and articles did not deter an ashram from preparing over 400 varieties of dishes for Byanjan Dwadashi.

A nice and satisfying meal contains five or six, or at the most 10 to 12 varieties of dishes. But what happens when the number of dishes in the platter goes up to more than 400?

It may sound untrue but a religious place in the temple town of Puri in Orissa --Gourabihar Ashram -- was recently in the news for entertaining devotees w
