Someone is serving the Lord in neutrality. Someone is serving the Lord as a servant. Someone else is serving as a friend. And then there are those who are serving in the mood of parent and those who are serving in the mood of a lover. Every living being throughout the vast material existence is originally from the spiritual sky, and thus has a natural innate propensity to serve the Lord in a certain capacity. This tendency becomes fully revived when one attains the liberated platform of spiritual perfection, pure love of Godhead.
At the present moment we are foolishly entangled in so many false conceptions of the self. These false conceptions are keeping us bound up tightly in karma-cakra birth after birth after birth. Someone is thinking they are male. Someone else is thinking they are female. Someone is thinking they are American, while someone else is thinking that they are Russian. In this way everyone is caught up in so many varieties of misconceptions and thus obliging themselves to continue taking birth after birth after birth in this material existence, which is full of so many miserable conditions. This is foolish and completely unnecessary.
One simply has to submissively hear the Vedic wisdom from the lips of the bona fide spiritual master. Everything will become revealed to such a person who gives aural reception to the supreme knowledge. And if that person will abide by the instructions given to him by the bona fide spiritual master, he will become delivered from all forms of temporality, illusion and misery. He will immediately begin to enter into his eternal, blissful, knowledge-full existence far, far beyond the madness, confusion, and delusion of this material prison.
