Hare Krishna. I am an older lady looking for a female roomate. I need help with my bills so I can concentrate on Krishna instead of money problems. So why does Krishna not send me a decent female roomate?

Krishna helps those who help themselves. Please announce it in the sunday feast that you are looking for a roomate and you may find some one. If we do not put any efforts from our side, then how can we expect Krishna to help us??
Thanks all. I have put a notice on the bulletin board at the Temple. I have put ads on craigslist.In my ads, I always say I want a female vegetarian roomate only. So what happens? I keep getting replies from strange lonely men looking for a female roomate! What a disgrace!!! I would never have a male roomate!!! NEVER!!!

Just like Krsna took test for Pandavas & Prahalad Maharaj, He is also testing you now. So, try to develop more faith on Krsna at this time.
Thanks. I am not sure if this testing is helping me in my spiritual life. I am working 2 jobs now and am too tired to even go to the Temple.

I am sure that everything is going to work out in your favor, because anyone who sides 100% with Krishna is always successful.
For example, the Pandavas. Or for an even more recent example, the attempted ban on the Bhagavad Gita As It Is.
Those who are sided with Lord Krishna never lose (although Yogamaya makes it seem that we are not very opulent).
So please have faith that Our Lord will keep you comfortable. He will never forget you, although you may at times forget Him.
Please forgive me if I have offended you in any way. I am just here to strengthen your undying Bhakti Mataji.
