    How to believe Krishna is Supreme personality of Godhead and not shiva ?

    Scriptures say so. Whenever there is difference in opinion in a legal court, they refer to the law books. Similarly whenever there is difference of opinion in spiritual/ religious matters it can be resolved by referring to scriptures.

    What do scriptures say ?

    isvarah paramah krsnah
    sac-cid-ananda-vigrahah
    anadir adir govindah
    sarva-karana karanam

    Krsna who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes. (Brahma samhita 5.1)

    There is also another way to know this -> Testing

    Many ages ago sages also had this doubt- Who is most supreme. Bhrigu muni was given task of testing the devatas. He concluded that Vishnu is the supreme. Detailed story can be found here

    Vishnu/ Rama/ Krsna Narasimha are all Supreme Personality of Godhead. Rest(Shiva, Brahma, Indra, surya, durga, lakshmi ) are all his servants. Krsna is the original Supreme personality of Godhead.

    Those who really have a faith in Lord recognize same Lord in different forms and names.

    One who claim to believe in one form of God, but not in another, consider to be without any basic knowledge about God.
