Hare Krishna Dear Devotees,
Please accept my humble obeisances,
All glories to Srila Prabhupada,
Why is it so that even if one has surrended unto Krishna still he sufferes from diseases?
i know that the sufferings that we face are because of the maturation of the seedlings of sins that we have performed in the past. lord sanctions it and let say if we deserve 10 reactions then he gives only 1 and that also in a way which is cultivating to our spiritual progress.
This is the answer that i already have in my mind but still for more clarity, im initiating this forum to get some light on this from other advanced vaishnavs .

This is not necessarily a rule. A devotee never expects such reduction in Karma. Example - Prahlada Maharaj never performed a sin. He underwent worst kind of tortures.
tat te ’nukampāṁ su-samīkṣamāṇo
bhuñjāna evātma-kṛtaṁ vipākam
hṛd-vāg-vapurbhir vidadhan namas te
jīveta yo mukti-pade sa dāya-bhāk
My dear Lord, one who earnestly waits for You to bestow Your causeless mercy upon him, all the while patiently suffering the reactions of his past misdeeds and offering You respectful obeisances with his heart, words and body, is surely eligible for liberation, for it has become his rightful claim. ( SB 10.14.8)
A deotee doesn't expect reduction in karmic reactions. He considers the reactions he receives as already reduced.
This is to say,if he received 10 reactions, he will think he deserved 100, but is grateful Krsna gave only 10. Tomorrow if Krsna gives 100 reactions, he will not ask why he received 100, he will think he deserved 1000, but Krsna gave only 100.
The change in perspective of a devotee is more important than whether Krsna has reduced reactions. Like in example of Prahlad, he didn't deserve anything, he got lot of tortures. In case of most pure devotees, they undergo lot of tribulations much more than what they likely deserve.
As aspiring/practicing devotees what our attitude should be is given in the shloka above SB 10.14.8
