  • Hare Krishna,

Whole Brahma Madhwa Gaudiya Sampradaya is followers of the footsteps of Gopi.

Rupa Goswami ji is none other than Rupa Manjari

Sanatan Goswami ji none other than Rati Manjari

Raghunatha dasa goswami ji none other than Lavanga Manjari/ Rati Manjari

Raghunatha bhatta Goswami ji is none other than Rasa manjari

Gopal bhatta goswami ji is none other than Guna Manjari

Jiva Goswamji is none other than  Vilaas manjari

Now all manjari's are Parichaarikas or sevikas of Pradhaan gopikas.

Like if A gopika is assigned to make garlands by Shrimati Radharani.. She will ask Manjari to get the flowers and to get the thread .. and plate to keep the garlands.   The duty of Manjari is to arrange to all the needs of the Pradhaan gopika.

We must be like the flowers to be picked up by the Manjari's to be ready to be used to make garlands to be decorated on to Lord's chest.

Manjaris' duty is to pick best flower ( that is the best devotee here in our case).

We are all following here ( regardless of being male or female) to be accepted to be in service of Manjari and In turn accepted by the Pradhaan gopika for making the garland.. To get finally accepted by Shrimati Radharani. Who is the one who decorates the Lord in Nikunj /Goloka.

Without Her giving signal that that this is right thing to be offered. You don't even go to Krishna ..

If a Gopika is assigned the duty to make Fruit juice for Lord..by Shrimati Radharani ji..

that Gopika will give order to Manjari to get the Best fruit from Vrindavan forest.  The Manjari' ( will have Upa manjaris' or sevikas) they will go in search of the fruits and get the best selected fruits. and bring it in a big container and then the fruits are washed carefully in the Yamuna by some more sevikas and then they bring cotainers to squeeze juice from the fruits selected.. * Here we are the fruits"

( we can be male fruit or female fruit) it is not the matter at all. We are finally getting used to be served for Lord .. But the process is going in this sequence.

Unless the Manjari's select us we dont get the opurtunity to meet Gopikas and Pradhaan Gopika and finally Shreemati Radharani will accept it to be offered to Lord.. before offering She will see our quality ( she will taste it and say yes good) we can offer this to Lord..

Similarly, anything.. if it is betalnut also.. paan patta.. betal nut ( supari) usmein jo jo cheezein padhti hai.. Lavang ityadhi sab kuch hum log bante hai.. as the contents of pan.. which Shrimati Radharani tastes chews it first and then transfers the chewed contains to Krishna.

Ab humara pehla kaam hai ki hum Manjari's ke nazar mein aana.. ab woh humko kaise USE karenge woh sab unpe nirbhar karta hai.. ( ab yahan pe male hai female hai) ye sab nahi chalta wahan pe Goloka mein .. all of them are used in service of Krishna. aaj fruit banoge..kal tum flower banoge... kya parson tum...lady banoge ya gents banoge. Jaise chahe woh manjari use karengi humko bhagwan ki seva mein. Waise dekha jaaye toh Goloka mein saare cheezein mein praan hoti hai.. even a tree, fruit, flower or even a small sand particle is lively and is a devotee.

      Did you re-post your reply?

I actually went through your post before replying to Neres Kimih. I wanted to check whether the spam posts are intentional or unintentional. Whatever it maybe the posts relevant to devotional service are pushed down because of these unnecessary spam posts. It is not at all desirable and it seems that if there is an admin, he or she is on holiday!

Actually the admin should take inspiration from Svarupa Damodara Prabhu who would always filter out the undesirable posts before forwarding it for the consideration of Caitanya Mahaprabhu or in this case the senior devotees who are taking their valuable time out to help newcomers to devotional service.

    • Hari bol. Manjari's had their own significant role in Krsna seva. We should depend upon them begging their grace. Hari Hari.

  • Hare Krsna Govind Prabhu ji

" One day the Lord, in the ecstasy of the gopis, was sitting in His house. Very morose in separation, He was calling, " Gopi! Gopi! "

    Sri Caitanta-caritamrta Adi 17.247

" A student who came to see the Lord was astonished that the Lord was chanting " Gopi! Gopi! " Thus he spoke as follows. "

    Sri Caitanya-caritamrta Adi 17.248

" Why are you chanting the names ' gopi gopi ' instead of the holy name of Krsna, which is so glorious? What pious result will You achieve by such chanting ? "

    PURPORT

It is said, vaisnavera kriya-mudra vijneha na bujhaya: no one can understand the activities of a pure devotee. A student or neophyte devotee could not possibly understand why Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu was chanting the name of the gopis, nor should the student have asked about the potency of chanting gopi gopi. The neophyte devotee was certainly convinced of the piety in chanting of Krsna's holy name, but this sort of attitude is also offensive. Dharma-vrata-tyaga-hutadi-sarva-subha-kriya-samyam api pramadah: to chant the holy name of Krsna in exchange for the achievement of piety is an offense. This, of course, was unknown to the student. Thus he innocently asked, " What piety is there in chanting of the name gopi? He did not know that there is no question of piety or impiety. The chanting of the holy name of Krsna or the holy name gopi is on the transcendental platform of loving affairs. Since he was not expert in understanding such transcendental activities, his question was merely impudent. Thus Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, apparently greatly angry at him, reacted as follows.

    Sri Caitanya-caritamrta Adi 2.249

" Hearing the foolish student, the Lord became greatly angry and rebuked Lord Krsna in various ways. Taking up a stick, He rose to strike the student. "

    PURPORT

It is mentioned in Srimad-Bhagavatam that when Uddhava came from Lord Krsna with a message for the gopis, all the gopis, especially Srimati Radharani, denounced Krsna in various ways. Such denunciations, however, reflect an exuberant loving attitude that an ordinary man cannot understand. When the foolish student questioned Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Lord Caitanya similarly rebuked Lord Krsna in loving exuberance. When Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu was in the mood of the gopis and the student advocated the cause of Sri Krsna, Lord Caitanya was greatly angry. Seeing His anger, the foolish student, who was an ordinary atheistic smarta-brahmana, foolishly misjudged Him. Thus he and a party of students were ready to strike the Lord in retaliation. After this incident, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu decided to take sannyasa so that people would not commit offenses against Him, considering Him an ordinary householder, for in India even now a sannyasi is naturally offered respect.

    Sri Caitanya-caritamrta Adi 17.250

P.S. Prabhu I also wanted to disclose to you that our Gayatri Mataji also enters the mood of the gopis sometimes. Being a woman it is more natural for her than ordinary men like us. I have known her for quite sometime and seen her get angry with Krsna also and yet remain steady in her position. I think you misjudged her for a second time and she didn't react. I think you owe her an apology this time because you seemingly went back on your words. I may be wrong so I leave it upto you to say what you deem fit!

    Hari bol

    • As far as I can see, Mataji is just a simple devotee — nothing exceptionally great or extraordinary about her. Yes, she seems humble, and that’s certainly a good quality, but humility alone doesn’t indicate gopi-bhaav.

And since you mentioned that you’ve known her for a long time, perhaps you can point out what special spiritual qualities you’ve seen in her that make you believe she possesses such an exalted mood? Has she shown anything that truly sets her apart from ordinary devotees — any depth of realization, renunciation, or selfless love that reflects the level of gopi-bhaav? Because from what’s visible, there’s nothing that suggests she’s beyond the stage of a sincere, simple practitioner. Hari Hari.

    • Wonderful! I don't know anything about her. Thank you for sharing information with me. I don't think anything wrong with it. Hari Hari.

  • Hare Krishna prabhuji

Maybe because of how Krishna left vrindavan because he was indebted by the love of gopis towards him, so lord came in the form of mahaprabhu to repay his debt as so he chanted gopis names. Gopis were lords great devotees afterall. I think
