we say lord is merciful, loving, nd so on
so why do we like lord? becuz of his qualities
i mean qualiites r worshipable or lord
or lord is worhsipable due to qualities?
we see many people in day to day life those r more merciful, loving we like them but we cant worship them as lord, after all krsna is reservior of all qualities in extreme.
i m too confused suppose if some day we get to know tht krsna dont have these qualities then will we like him or not.

Love have no meaning if it based on conditions. If ur love for Krishna is only limited by such conditions like his qualities or his beauty or his knowledge then is not love.
We worship some one becoz we love Him and love has no reason. Though Krishna has unlimited reasons to be worshiped for.
Adding to bharat ji's reply which was quite complete few more words i shall add
"Of all types of worship, worship of Lord Visnu is best, and better than the worship of Lord Visnu is the worship of His devotee, the Vaisnava ." (Padma Purana)
The above is said by lord shiva to his consort. The worship of devotees of Krsna is better than worship of Krsna because Krsna is more pleased by one who worships his devotees than one who worships Him(Krsna). In fact Krsna Himself is always eager to worship His devotees.
Worshiping devotees of Krsna includes the worship of Krsna. Because a devotee always carry Krsna in his/her heart. Hence worshiping devotees is the supreme.
And Worship of His name is enough in kaliyuga. Kaliyug naam adhara. Krishna virtues Krishna beauty everything is in His name.
Krishna se bhi bada unka naam hai which is enough for corssing the bondages of material world.
Hare Krishna.

Why do we like lord?
By this question we are trying to find a cause and effect relationship. Like
Why did the apple fall down ?
Gravitational force.
In absence of gravitational force will apple fall down ?
No
The above is an example of cause and effect relationship.
The relationship between Jiva and Krsna is spiritual and is not subjected to cause and effect relationship it is transcendental, absolute and eternal.
There is an ocean called causal ocean or karana ocean that separates the material world from spiritual world. Things on this side of causal ocean are subjected to cause-effect relationship. Aspects on the other side of causal ocean are not subjected to cause and effect.
So there is no cause for jiva being attracted to Krsna. It is Krsna's transcendental attribute to attract jiva. It is constitutional nature of jiva to be attracted to Krsna.
In fact every moment in conditioned state, everything that jiva is attracted to, is a manifestation of Krsna's aspect but which separate from Krsna. Unfortunately we get attracted to the qualities of Krsna that are separated from Krsna, but we are not attracted to the personality of Krsna due to conditioned nature.
If Krsna doesnt have the qulities will jiva still be attracted to Krsna ?
If Krsna doesn't have a particular quality then that quality does not exist. Krsna is the origin of everything, means every quality has its origin in Krsna. So by default Krsna has that quality.
Because Krsna is absolute Krsna's qualities are non-different from Him. This is not easy to understand in conditioned stage.
But one thing is for sure, we are attracted to Krsna's qualities without Krsna, like when a person is beautiful we are attracted to that person. But there is no Krsna involved, only the quality of beauty which is Krsna's quality is present and that is the cause of our attraction.
Krsna's qualities cannot be separated from Krsna as mentioned in the question. But due to our conditioned we can see manifestation of Krsna's qualities separate from Krsna and be helplessly attracted to it.
The main problem is we are not attracted to the personality of Krsna because of our conditioning. Our effort should be towards reviving our attraction towards Krsna which is our constitutional and existential right. And the process for reviving our attracttion to the personality of Krsna is chanting of the Hare Krsna mahamantra in humble attitude

Qualities r worshipable or lord ?
The personality of godhead is always present along with all His qualities. All qualities manifested in material and spiritual realms have their origin in the personality of godhead. In the material world conditioned living entities can perceive qualities without perceiving the presence of the personality of godhead.
Like a boy may find a girl to be very beautiful and hence attractive. The quality of beauty is perceived, but the source of all beauty - the personality of Krsna is not perceived. Due to the attraction the boy may offer flowers to the girl, he may do things to make her happy. This can be considered a form of worship because the boy genuinely wants to see the girl happy. This is an example of worshiping the qualities separate from the personality of godhead.
The personality of godhead is the origin of all qualities. He possesses all qualities in full. But still the conditioned living entities cannot perceive the supreme lord with all his qualities. The reason for this is that the living entities in this world have a strong inclination to enjoy separate from Krsna. In order to pursue the illusory independent enjoyment separate from Krsna, it is required that the living entity forgets Krsna or that personality of Krsna is not manifest. Hence the living entity only perceives the vibhuti or opulences/ qualities of Krsna without perceiving the personality Krsna. It is the selfish enjoying mentality of living entity prevents the living entity from perceiving Krsna.
yad yad vibhūtimat sattvaṁ
śrīmad ūrjitam eva vā
tat tad evāvagaccha tvaṁ
mama tejo-'ṁśa-sambhavam
Know that all beautiful, glorious, and mighty creations spring from but a spark of My splendor. BG(10.41)
So whatever we see in this world which are capable of attracting the attention/effort/resources of living entities is actually worship of qualities/opulences of Krsna without acknowledging the supremacy of Krsna. Like people praising the performance of a dancer/ sportsman, works of philanthropist, bravery of soldier, intelligence of an entrepreneur , speech of a politician, innocence of a child, beauty of a pageant winner etc are all appreciation of of Krsna's qualities without appreciation of the personality of Krsna.
The Supreme Lord is represented throughout the entire material universes by His entering into all things as the Supersoul. The Lord here tells Arjuna that there is no point in understanding how things exist in their separate opulence and grandeur. (BG 10.42 Purport)
The biggest problem of modern day education, science, technology, society, economy, government, law, family, lifestyle etc is that these encourage the separation of the personality of Krsna from His opulences by presenting the "good without god". The attraction to the manifestation of opulences of Krsna disconnected from Krsna is cause of all miseries. When individuals/groups want to enjoy Krsna's manifestions for their own selfish purposes these opulence cease to manifest leaving the pursuers of enjoyment bewildered & miserable. Because Good without god is an illusion and time will prove it in the long run. But intelligent people can realize this by learning from Krsna directly.
ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavo
mattaḥ sarvaṁ pravartate
iti matvā bhajante māṁ
budhā bhāva-samanvitāḥ
I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who know this perfectly engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts.(BG 10.8)
Here Krsna directly answers what is to be done - whether to worship aspects of Krsna's manifestation that are separated from the personality of Krsna or to worship the personality of Krsna.
All non-devotee are already worshipping the qualities of Krsna separate from Krsna. The realized devotees worship the personality of Krsna with all his opulences. As practioners of devotional service we should transit from worshipping all separated manifestations of Krsna to worshipping the personality of godhead Krsna. But is this the highest ?
