Of course Krishna will accept. When you are mentioning a person as devotee, he is surrendered to Krishna and following Krishna's instructions and Krishna is assuring in Bhagavad Gita that one who surrenderes onto me, I will remove all his sins and protect him. Sarva Dharman parityajya mam ekam sharanam vraja, aham tvam sarva papebyo mokshya ishyami ma shucha. so there is no need of considering a sincere devotee's previous sinful life as he has already surrendered devotee and has left tendency of doing sinful activities.

Any thing that one has done before comng to Krsna consciosness , that can be left behind.But once He comes to Krsna Consciosness, he should have followed the principles very strictly.
He can join Brahmacharya ashram , no problem with that
